I am not close to being as scared of Russia as you are. Iran is a ?? mark for me. I don't see them with ships enough to invade the USA.

    Russia has no fangs.

Russia wants peace. We need to reach that same spot.

Russia is not your friend. You need to wake the **** up. There will be no invasion... well not as you refer to it... it will be a slow seepage.... time is Iran's friend

Well, I never called Russia our friend. I just do not see them as the invasion force we must worry about. I see Muslims all over the place. Many are from Iran. Those still devoted to being Muslims hate our guts.

In my long lived life, I knew less than 6 Russians. Arkady is a good Republican and can't stand socialism. I met one man who was my political science teacher in college and he must be long since dead. He escaped the revolution of 1916. Met a man who escaped as well and grew up in China. But he hates Jews. He informed me that Arkady was a Jew so I asked Arkady. And he said he is a Jew. I met a Russian woman due to her marrying a friend of mine. I have zero opinion on her. She was pretty though and college educated.

There's nothing to win in Syria... never was. Let Russia and Iran rebuild Syria.

Why did Democrats get the gall to blame so many things on Neocons? Neocons stand for reformed Democrats.

So, where can i locate all these dangerous Russians now living in the USA?

Here in my city, we have plenty of Muslims. But you don't come down hard on them for some odd reason. We have the largest enclave of Afghani people. We have lesser numbers of Iranians. I am sure we have some Russians but if so, they don't seem to be much of a problem.

I'm a bit bothered at human beings in the Middle East (and elsewhere!) being pawns in the games played by us and Russia and our respective allies and partners, I must say. Not that our not being involved would necessarily make things better there, but I still feel like it's all somehow dirty. Are we doing more good than harm? I hope so.

That is ridiculous if you mean they became republicans. But so what? They reformed from Democrats. But still they carried many Democratic party traits with them.

I call BS on the idea that those are the truly war making people. But to listen to Democrats, you would get the idea they are.

That is fine by me. Obama should have not got so involved with so many of their wars.

There is no "Russia wants." There is "Putin and his ilk want," and what they want is to rival and, where possible, defeat the US and our strategic alliances. Putin speaks with a forked tongue, especially about peace! You look at what he has done to Ukraine without your blinders on and you'll see what kind of actor "Russia" is on the global stage under his leadership.

The Syrian conflict broke out in March of 2011.. The US was not involved until 2014.

Have you ever read Clean Break Strategy or the PNAC letter of 1998?

No on the book. Yes I have read over and over and over the letter to Clinton from PNAC. I observed him following directions. But so far, not the republicans.
Folks, PNAC explained to Clinton why he had to fight for America and not evade fighting in the middle east. And Clinton fought more than that, he also fought the Balkans. I guess this makes him part of the PNAC too.

I did check out the site devoted to advice for Israel. Found Bibi did not much care for the advice.

I must apologize to you but that is a no sale. The USA and this definitely included Obama, acts as if Putin is our enemy then when they think the mike turned off, tell the Russians just what they want to hear.

Obama would be a sell out if you were being factual.

I have explained Ukraine. When they had the elected president, things were working well. But he was surrounded and left for Russia for his safety. They did not follow the constitution. They got a new guy who has lost control of Ukraine. He caused the Crimea to leave. And keeps attacking Eastern Ukraine. Quit making excuses for the Ukranian criminals.

Russia is militarily involved in the east, as you must know, just as their military showed up in Crimea to take control of it, and this followed years of anti-Kievan propaganda and direct manipulation of Ukrainian politics. Methinks you are at best terribly naïve about the situation on the whole.

Our useless waste-of-space prime minister May is ramping up the supposed 'Russian threat' fake news now. I mean, WHAT effing threat? How the hell is Russia threatening the West? If there's any 'threat' around, it's being offered by the West against Russia ffs! Think 'NATO exercises on Russia's borders'?? I think there's more to this 'Let's all get Russia' crap - I think it's a ruse to 'bury bad news', as used to be the expression deployed by Downing Street to conceal an imminent or an ongoing domestic disaster.

"Theresa May to warn of 'hostile' Russia threat to EU security"

Yeah, arming, training and facilitating isn't really involvement. And Stevens et al didn't really die protecting the movement of arms through Libya

Clinton didn't implement the PNAC letter.. Bush did.. and hired many of the dual citizen neocon signatories to that letter.. I think destabilizing and isolating Syria was third on their list.

If Assad had a brain, he would have taken control of his own Arab Spring in Syria and driven it from the top down.
