    How many civilians need to be killed to justify intervention in your opinion? 10,000? 100,000? It was more than 10K back in 2015.

    Just what "expansion" are you referring to? Putin has declared his recognition of free and independent Donbas republics. Is that what you call "expansion"? And is it your contention that expanding (sorry, I mean 'recognition of') NATO bases is not the US "propping itself up"?

    I don't know the answer to this. Civil wars and skirmishes are nasty. Things had simmered down since 2015, though.

    A question for you: Putin says he wants to demilitarize Ukraine and get out. Do you think he'll keep his word and do this?

    Now there's going to be a big military campaign for years and years. Many civilians dead. And there'll be a bunch of ads on YouTube begging for money from questionable "chairities" to help the poor, starving, and sick children. Because the leadership of the area can't do their job and provide safety and basic services.

    Don't donate, it's a scam. Their leaders over there are fully responsible for the conditions of their people.

    "Planning to" and "preparing in case" are two different things. Russia didn't initiate hostilities. Ukraine did.

    He does what he says. He warned again and again, and drew the red line. Biden and other NATO members kept sending weapons (all violations of the Minsk Agreements)....that were being used by Neo-nazis and others. He had enough of NATO and the US's mission creep.

    I think he will (but I could be wrong). I also think Ukraine will collapse...it was on the verge without military intervention. It's just been a corrupt shithole ever since the Soviet Union fell...like it never advanced at all.

    So you have come to believe that Russia is planning on attacking the US? You speak as though you believe the United Snakes requires provocation. I can name dozens of incidents when the US invaded nations without any provocation whatsoever. That's what the 'bad guys' do.

    They are complicit........ and Putin is going in from many different angles. This could b a lot bigger with an eventual decapitation (denazifyng)of the Ukrainian gov't.
