I see yet the profit they make only makes it a capitalist operation....Federal students loans is controlled by the federal govt. yet the profits are given to the US treasury for US obligations in the budget. Did you not know it is called Sallie Mae, do you know of the mortgage service provided with the US govt.?

The US govt. got into those two businesses because private firms were being racially biased...

Just like I went back to working for the US feds because they will hire the disables and elderly, minority and females that private companies shy away from.

It is easy to see why we have inflation, those that control the means of production claim they can't keep up with demand after shutting down during 2020....Let's face it some do not want to increase production to keep prices higher and in the lumber industry it is the same story and tariffs that will be doubling soon to keep out foreign imports to get us to use US products and US products are higher than imports because we have a higher standard of living wage.

 

Wrong. Sallie Mae and a handful of other companies service the loans. But it’s not their capital. It’s government spending. Sallie Mae is not a governmental entity.

And having government nationalize something is the definition of communism. You can’t then say, oh, well, maybe the government makes money on it so that makes it capitalist, herp derp. Good grief.

It’s actually not certain the government is even making money on student loans.

 

Communism is the workers control the means of production, do you see the workers owning Sallie Mae? Student loans is not an industry upon itself it is part of the finance industry just like home loans for Vets...The govt. guarantee the loans for veterans yet the funds are from private sources.
