Suicide occurs frequently too, and more often, the method used do not involve Guns.

One of the facile anti-gun arguments lefties were parroting was that the homicide rate is lower in the UK, because of gun control.

However, it was lower before gun control restrictions were enacted, and as you point out, its become more violent there.

 

When was gun control first enacted in the UK?

The US expanded gun rights over the same period and their homicide rates went down.

Those are rural states where more people as a percentage own guns.
