Was it not the case, LA and NYC be picking the President while the rest of the country be ****ed. The system is working as designed, chest-beating and sky screaming notwithstanding.

No, nobody should be ****ed. The President should govern for everyone, not just those who voted for him. Your attitude is why we are so divided

You think so? The Secret Service allowed Hinkley to get within a few feet of Reagan with a loaded gun. They allowed not one but TWO assassins to get within a few feet of President Ford within a matter of weeks.

They allowed at least three assassination attempts on President George W. Bush. Although granted IIRC those were all overseas.

No I am not, you Democrats are. It is you Democrats who are unhappy with our Constitution, not me.

The Constitution is the greatest governing document yet conceived, but it is not perfect. Here's another opinion on that you might find interesting. (See? I DO agree with Trump from time to time)

Are you counting the one Iraqi who threw a shoe at him?

I truly hope no one kills Trump, as a President we will be rid of him in 8 months, as a martyr he'd be with us forever.

Besides, he does appear to be a loving father, well, alternatively loving and hard with no real rhyme or reason to it, much like he governs the country.

I think you have that completely bassackwards. Anybody with a modicum of intelligence understands Trump is a malleable individual who suffers from narcissism probably stemming from his childhood. Getting at least partial control of his decisions and actions should have been an easy task for the democrats given the fact Trump was actually more liberal than most on the primary stage with him. Flatter him and he is putty. Send in the self important idiots like Pelosi, Schumer, and the like and they get nothing.
Instead, they and some Republicans went into full panic and the democrats choose to spend the last three and a half years trying everything they could to remove him from office and they failed miserably in every attempt.
In retrospect, I wonder if during Trump's second term they will still act so stupidly or will that giant popping sound be them removing their heads from their own rear ends.

It isn't the job of Congress to coddle a damaged child man. What empowers trump are his fanatical supporters. But that time is finally ending with every injection of bleach.

There is no negotiating with such a damaged and despicable person.

You just perfectly pointed out what it took me too many words to state in my post.
Dig in your heels and act like your party's mascot and suffer the consequences for the next eight years.
Thank you, democrats, for your stubbornness and inability to see the big picture.
Although upon reflection, this is the party that is giving us Crazy Uncle Joe as the best they can offer sooo...

There is no Ryan Amnesty Bill. There was. Hurd-Aguilar Bill. Is that what you are talking about.

And no, Paul Ryan is not and never has been an advocate of illegal immigration.

No. But I am counting the guy who threw a live grenade at him when he visited the former Soviet republic of Georgia.

I can't understand something, there are over 100 American companies in China that might move to India. Why India and not south of the border so the migrants will have jobs. Also if a wall is built, then the migrants can be registered to work here two years, and the money they send back to their families will help build up the economies of their home country.

I don't know much of what's going on, but I know that working for Germany was how the southern Europeans nations were able to build up their economies after war II. Also when people are given a future, they have less children.

    Enjoy Ray Stevens

Migrants? What the hell is this 'migrant' ****? They are Mexicans if they live in Mexico. They are illegals if they cross our border.

Remember NAFTA? Ross Perot was right, the giant sucking sound was good jobs going South yet we still got all the trash heading North.

Registered? We've got around 30 million illegals here.....I doubt you will find a single one that wants to 'register'.

    Why India? Why Mexico?

High taxes and endless regulation....in other words....Democrats. That's why India and Mexico.

The best the Democrats had to offer was Tulsi Gabbard, and she would have won by a landslide. But that's not what the Democrats wanted. They wanted someone who would follow their directives towards a liberal new world order/government. If it wasn't so, then why is George Soros the deciding factor on who should run and who shouldn't run? Hasn't he said he believes in a one world government and currency?

Anyway Donald Trump was our only alternative, that's why he was voted in. Now it seems instead of cleaning the swamp, he is part of the swamp - but could he do otherwise? Could any politician do otherwise?

Tulsi Gabbard? Not a chance. Neither does Nikki Haley have a chance. Let's just put both of those to rest right now.

    Reality.

Nimrata Haley's experience outside of politics is working for her parents as a bookkeeper for a few years. She luckily rode the Tea Party wave and was elected Governor. If not for her skin color and Indian descent, she wouldn't have a chance.

Her loud mouth was silenced when Trump threw her a bone...so she could become U.N Ambassador....which is like being appointed to the World Chamber of Commerce (who gives a ****).

She couldn't even handle that so she resigned and shortly thereafter sought a kickback swamp Board seat on Boeing's Board of Directors. So what kind of aviation experience does she have? None, of course, but Boeing's Dreamliner operation is in South Carolina and she has swamp connections....meaning...she was paid for influence and lobbying.

Sorry, I don't subscribe to the 'but she's a woman of color so it's time for a woman president' argument. Honestly it's quite pathetic that people think it's necessary to anoint a female president based on affirmative action.

No one wants to register, but if there was a wall they wouldn't be able to enter this country without registering. Also they would be working legally without their families.

How can you compare the two, actually how can you compare Tulsi Gabbard with any Democrat? When Nikki Haley was at the UN, she was just a repeat of Samantha Power with one lie after another. When I said Tulsi Gabbard, I meant a person who had integrity and leadership abilities, and was deliberately kept from the debates by the Democrats for that very reason.

Well I certainly agree with the Samantha Power comparison.

You do realize that Tulsi was on Bernie's 2016 Campaign team. Tulsi is the Hawaiian version of Commie Bernie. Let's just cut through the crap....she never got enough traction to show her full Commie but she's definitely one of the "millionaires and billionaires bad....climate nutters good" type of person. What do Tulsi and AOC have in common? Damn near everything....they worked for Bernie at the same time....remember that!

There isn't any swamp, there was never any swamp. Well, at least not until Trump was "elected" and he brought it with him, good stinking Hudson mud fresh from the Foundation of Trump Towers. The Swamp was nothing but a fever dream in the head of American conservatism which had become deathly ill and gone off into its Final Fantasy. It's dead now, no more than a Video Game that played out its franchise decades ago. These last 4 years have been a funeral, where crazy Aunt Gertrude has cried and cried over the corpse and constantly brandished her AK at anybody who even looks like a "furriner, especially those brown ones and lately the yellow peril. Hopefully, it's over now and come November we can bury the corpse, it's getting ripe in here.
