To Casper: Every individual NOT NECESSARY to the operation of a limited government —— whose major source of income is derived from tax dollars. That means government employees in bloated and unnecessary bureaucracies, Wall Street sharpshooters, teachers, recipients of government funding and/or subsides, ditto bailouts, and so on. It also means everyone living on welfare state programs since the program is their major source of income. Hence, repeal the XVI Amendment and you get them all with one chop. To Margot: So you say. If true, your motive for always defending Muslim fanatics who have sworn to kill all Americans —— including American Christians —— is suspect. You can trace all of your ancestors back to the tenth century! Either you are a fool or you are lying about that one. As a general rule your direct ancestors double every twenty years. In other words you have 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, 16 great-great-grandparents and so on. Double the number every twenty years all the back to the tenth century. Start with your parents and double the number 50 times —— that is five generations per century. The most recent two centuries gives you 2,048 direct ancestors assuming there was no inbreeding. A fairly large assumption in your case. You take it the rest of the way then tell me how you know billions of ancestors were all Christians.

I found an ebook that talked about a different kind of secession. It said that state secession is illegal and impossible, but that US Citizens could push for a collective, individual secession. Thought it was a different idea worth considering. It gives an end-around towards these petitions, at least. And it wouldn't be asking for Obama's approval. Anyone else run across this?
