I am neither a Democrat nor did I state Durbin was correct.

I have no claim. I'm merely asking the TC to show proof of his theory that Trump and Sessions are all just doing an act to trick Democrats. No source has been provided for this. Both democratic and republican news reported only show the opposite.

The thread's premise is based around fictional events.

TC post is not the topic. Durbin claiming Trump wanted to fire Sessions during the recess and appointing someone else is.. Durbin has no evidence of this. We agree this thread is nothing but fluff. Thanks.

And you can't debunk Durbin's point or assertion, so you are welcome. He is predicting where Trump's paranoia and fear may take him.

That's the point, do try to ask relevant questions then. You are failing at the rabbit holes you yourself create.

If you don't see enough BS comming out of this administration to warrant in investigation, I'll never convince you.

If your OK with the constant lies about meeting with Russians, and the constant revising of their disclosure statements, their security clearance paperwork, the attempts to stop any investigation etc, then you are a true partisan. But I think both you and I know that if the rolls were reversed, and this was Hillary, you would be one of the ones in the street with your pitchfork held high ;)

The Hill's report mentions nothing about Trump and Sessions infighting being a charade designed to toy with Democrats. The OP put in pieces of fiction in the body of the post which have no relation with the articles he linked.

Many republicans are blasting Trump over his behavior aimed at Sessions.

It's a witch hunt and we all know it. Politicians love witch hunts because they don't have to actually do all that much while it's happening. Both sides use it to rally the base.

In your opinion. Not in the opinion of the multiple high ranking bipartisan investigations going on.

Or of many Republicans not involved.

Or with Trump's FBI director pick.

Like I said politicians love witch hunt. Both sides don't have to accomplish anything but the hunt.

Yes, she did. Not that it is especially relevant. This is the line that Trump has been busy trying to shop as a distraction ever since they staged that ridiculous show with Devin Nunes. (the one in which he rushed to the White House to show them what they had handed him in the first place).

Ah. So you think it's a good move for Democrats to declare their support for a wildcard conservative that could serve their upcoming dishes cold.

I thank you for your contribution!

No. I think both "sides" are behaving like children.

Also, what you wrote did not confront anything I stated in my post. The OP should leave out fiction next time, or I'll dog him on it again.

Sounds like you are doing your usual projection. Have you found Geraldo's booty treasure in Al Capone's tomb yet?

And you're not, because you're so erudite that you cannot actually confront the actual consequence of what this Dem declaration regarding Sessions actually means to Democrats.

Sure I did. It's like you're running around complaining that there isn't memo explaining to doofus democrats how they've been outmaneuvered. Your complaint is the flaccid contrivance of someone - a leftist, which you are (go ahead: deny it) - who cannot conjure any other way to put any other positive spin on the outcome of this action.

Dems are on record: they want Sessions to remain.

GOP says: excellent! We'll remind you of that every time he announces another indictment.

I agree that both sides use it and that it usually is to gin up the base.

Trump may not have colluded, but with everything that has come out, and all the admissions after the fact that his campaign has admitted to after being called out, something doesn't pass the smell test. And the ultimate irony is that while Trump may not have colluded with the Russians, his actions to stop the investigation may ultimately give the dems grounds for impeachment. He has to tread lightly on Mueller.

What you "might" not have considered is that Trump and Sessions are playing Brier Rabbit with the Democrats. Have you stopped and pondered this?

I have. Though whether orchestrated or not, Trumps critisms are producing the desired affects. Trump should consider pushing Chris Wray through under recess appointment. McCabe allowed Schultz to obstruct Capital police, and shield felons from prosecution. McCabe might well be compromised himself.

    Trump discrediting his AG
if Sessions is fired the new AG (assuming he's not also recused) could then fire Mueller
