Those Jan 6th rioters are really getting it from all sides. They are being arrested, they will probably will be locked up, and they are losing their jobs, while Trump is denigrating them as "low class", and the majority of the RW pretends they are Antifa plants. LOL. The burden goes to whoever holds the resolution, meaning, the one who is making the novel claim. In a world where use of anonymous sources is regular journalistic practice (in D.C., at the least), the claim that the source is bogus or the quotes made up is the novel claim. The evidence is the journalistic source itself, a reputable magazine with a national audience. They can be assumed to be upholding standard journalistic best practices - until shown otherwise. If you claim that they're lying - well, pony up.
