I do. But, the BLM rioters were anarchists from across the political spectrum with no particular goal but chaos. The January 6th insurrectionists were trumpist fanatics with the goal of overturning OUR Presidential election.

The Taxpayers were also forced to pay2.5 million for immediate repairs to glass, furnature, doors etc and 30 million in excess wages repairs to artifacts, extra healthcare costs etc for the dog and pony show of January 6.

I wonder how they came up with the $30 million figure.

    Oh, there it is-

    "psychological toll"

It will probably cost at least a million bucks to heal the psychological trauma AOC suffered when she was literally almost nearly raped and killed by the alt-right mob that was across the street in a different building.

Probably have to buy her another $30,000 pretty ball gown and some fancy designer shoes to ease her suffering.

WASHINGTON — The top operations and maintenance official of the United States Capitol told lawmakers on Wednesday that the costs of the Jan. 6 attack will exceed $30 million, as his office works to provide mental health services, increase security and repair historical statues and other art damaged in the riot.

“The events of Jan. 6 were difficult for the American people, and extremely hard for all of us on campus to witness,” J. Brett Blanton, the architect of the Capitol, testified as he and other top officials gave their first extensive look at the damage inflicted on the House’s fine art collection and the strain on congressional employees from the assault.

Speaking to the House Appropriations Committee, where lawmakers are considering an emergency bill to cover the costs of the most violent attack on the Capitol in two centuries, Mr. Blanton described how his staff sheltered congressional aides as “the crowd began crashing through windows and prying open doors.”

The cost to democracy from the Big Lie is incalculable.

    Ah, there it is-

    "mental health services"

It'll cost about 2 million bucks(high estimate) to fix the busted windows and stuff at the Capitol. All the "psychological damage" crap is just drama queening.

And that's a joke compared to the billions of dollars of real, actual damage the BLM riots did. How much "mental health" damage do you reckon those did?

As far as the "monetary value of the erosion of faith in elections", yeah, you can go ahead and send the bill for that to Joe's head puppetmaster.

Paranoia and accusations cloud efforts to launch 'Justice for January 6' rally

The extremist forums that cheered on the Jan. 6 Capitol attack have soured on the planned Saturday rally in Washington, insisting without evidence that the event is a secret government plot to arrest more people involved in the riot.

Users in extreme far-right Facebook groups and extremist forums such as TheDonald and 4chan, which previously hosted pictures of users streaming into Washington hotel rooms and even maps of the Capitol tunnel system in the days before the Jan. 6 riot, are largely steering users away from the upcoming event.

Those posting on these forums say they largely believe the event to be a setup for a “false flag” event or “honeypot,” in which they’ll be entrapped and coerced to commit violence by federal agents.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/intern...forts-launch-justice-january-6-rally-rcna2034

There's some ironic symmetry here as the delusional conspiracy theorism pervading right wing circles has brought them to the conclusion the rally they themselves organized is a false flag event.

Or are you going to kid yourself and operate under the delusion that all those people are arming up to protect themselves against alt-right knuckleheads wearing water buffalo horn hats?

    Nope.

The cost of repairing damages from the attack on the U.S. Capitol and related security expenses have already topped $30 million and will keep rising, Architect of the Capitol J. Brett Blanton told lawmakers on Wednesday.

The events of Jan. 6, he said, were "difficult for the American people and extremely hard for all of us on campus to witness."

Blanton said that congressional appropriations committees have already approved a transfer request of $30 million to pay for expenses and extend a temporary perimeter fencing contract through March 31.

But more money will be needed, he added: "History teaches us that project costs for replacements and repairs beyond in-kind improvements across campus will be considerable and beyond the scope of the current budgetary environment."

The price tag will go even higher, Blanton told lawmakers on the House Appropriations Committee, if the fence and other security measures are needed beyond March.

The windows can be fixed. Not so easily the damage Trump has wrought on the country.

    Yes.

Repairs to the Capitol will be about $2 million.

This right here is paying for a prop in the Dem's dog and pony show.

$30 million to pay for expenses and extend a temporary perimeter fencing contract through March 31.

The fance won't be needed just like the fence and all the National Guard deployed weren't needed before.

It's all just drama queening theatre to fool people like yourself- the easily fooled.

No. But your attribution to psychological trauma is. 8.4 million people arming themselves with guns based on the delusional belief it affords them safety is tragic.

And also by the psychological trauma of watching the violent and destructive BLM riots raging across the US.

Or do you think that had no effect on anybody's psyche?
