Let’s get one thing established or argued:

There is no acknowledged, hidden, implied or tacit leadership of The Tea Party.

If Michele Bachman started a Tea Party Caucus but did not make explicit this fact, then she has made a grave error. I do believe that she has or is leaving Congress, for what that is worth which, in my mind, is worth much.

(Aside: The Tea Party is not a “Party’ of the type that are of the two or more Political Parties that have been on election ballots to date and must not be part of said list in future.)

For the record, she, to my knowledge, had been a good relayor of general Tea Party ideas.

 

This thread is a direct expression of the frustration conspiracy theorists experience when they are unable to persuade others that their fantasy is reality.

This is what happens when someone is unable to come to terms with reality. The mind has to construct ways in which the fantasy can still exist. In order to maintain their fantasy, they imagine that they are being directly opposed by teams of people who are paid to actively suppress their ideas. Since these teams are imaginary, they are anywhere and everywhere. If you bother to question a theories, or (God forbid) refute a theory with evidence based rebuttal, the theorist simply imagines you are a shill creating lies to confuse and discourage them.

Jango put up something like five genuine links prior to this regarding Israeli students being hired through scholarships to push Israeli agendas, but the US does it too.

I've been reading here and there for a couple of years about the military, particularly the air force, having teams that pimp their agenda on social media, so I did a search and found an article in the NY times posted in June relating to the topic. seems like they went all CYBERCOM on the tactic now:

Are the links within the quote strong enough evidence? I'm sure I can find more if I kept digging... It's not just governments and corporations using these types of manipulations though... There are so-called "COINTELPRO" social media control technique primers in all kinds of forums that discuss methods such as "forum slides" and "topic dilution." I've personally seen these techniques used in person on forums and comment sections all over the place, and often by amateurs.
