U.S. President Obama will be recorded in history as the greatest man of all times.

He deserves his face being carved in granite on Mt. Rushmore. Millions of loyal followers from all over the globe would flock to see the magnificent sculpture. Moreover, America owes it to the world and must ensure that it happens.

    Thank you

    No.

Not because he is Obama, but no reason to add anyone to Rushmore.

I have not heard the affirmative case for adding him to Mr Rushmore. In fact, I've never heard anyone make this suggestion. So I would ask, are you in favor of it, and if so, on what grounds?

I suspect the nation should wait until the end of the man's presidency before deciding how he should be 'honored'. I mean to date it's been a generally dismal performance, but who knows? Although unlikely it is theoretically possible that during the remaining two and two thirds years of his presidency he will finally discover how to be a president of all of the people and also be competent with it. You never know.

Should this president's face be on Mt. Rushmore?

No. He's done nothing deserving of having his face on anything worthwhile.

I can only agree with nom de plume; Obama is the greatest man to have ever lived, he has enacted perhaps the greatest political reforms since Lincoln, his charisma is boundless, he is without a doubt the most appreciated and respected President there was ever to be internationally and within his own nations borders. I hold him in as high regard as Joseph Stalin. Great guy. Chuck his face on a rock, he deserves it.

True. This is a hyperbolic question and quite amusing.

I am not going to state my preference just yet. I'm more interested in the opinion of other people.

    What does "hyperbolic" mean?

    Hyperbolic = exaggerated.

And no. He shouldn't be on Rushmore or any other monument. I'm not one of the haters, in fact I voted for him both times but more as the lessor of two evils rather than any liking for him.

Edit: treed on the definition. Sorry.

I can appreciate your personal request.

I appreciate your honestly. Most would do a Google search and try to act as
if they were well schooled. You didn't.

Hyperbolic is akin to an exageration. A good example of a hyperbole is
"I'm so hungry I could eat a horse". It's not intended to mean one could eat
a horse but that one is very hungry.

In other words, nobody with a functioning brain wants this president's fact
on Mt. Rushmore. That isn't hyperbole.

Neither am I. What would be the purpose of hating someone? Seriously.
I know the left TRY to justify their hatred, but I honestly don't see the point.

I prefer to deal with facts that can't be denied, such as"...

This president is less important than teats on a boar hog. That's
not hyperbole. That's a fact. An absolute fact

At least teats, even on a man, have the semblance of meaning
something. This current president doesn't have a reasonable
semblance of anything unless one wants to assume that foolishness
is a reasonable semblance of something.

We all know that doesn't make sense and certainly not for the presidency.

Exactly. He should be given a mountain of his own, and not one in the sacred Area of the Sioux, the Black Hills. (Mt Rushmore came out of a plan to employ people by carving several mountains in this area. Anyone who's ever visited remarks on the sacred feel of these strange hills)

I suggest we build one for the purpose, and, as it should be in a state now bereft of the salubrious effect of mountainous country, I put forth Mississippi.

Think if it, the benign face of our first Black President overlooking the happy people of the Deep South's Deepest forevermore. The only thing that would make them happier would be to reflect upon the fact that they would be charged the entirety of the several trillions it would cost.

Thank you Katchy. And I'm sure you will agree that it would be beneath the dignity of America to have our Obama share a sculptured location on Mt. Rushmore with the other bumpkins depicted there. He is much too magnanimous and important.

Mr. Obama deserves to have his sculpture carved in granite on a much grandiose and special mountain set aside for that exclusive purpose. :clapping:
