    I don't think it's a practical thing to do. With all the dirt that is clinging to him, it would take decades to clean it off

    I've never heard anyone toss that idea around anyway (in case that was supposed to be some sort of insult or something).

    I have, however, as have you based on your troll-thread.... heard and read quite a bit of discussion about getting Obama on Mt. Rushmore.
    This was early in his first term, back when awards were handed to him for doing nothing, etc.

    But of course, as stated by so many, honesty, class, character, respect, dignity... are all keeping Obama off of that monument.

    But you already know that.

    It's funny how often the left mistakes Palin for president. I guess they'd hate for all that obsession to go to waste.

    Poor McCain... when he was running, the left went after Palin so hard, they lost track of who was actually running for POTUS.

    Yes, which is why he deserved more of a look. He had been in the Senate since the late 1970's and had a record of plagiarism, racist statements, and worst of all, being wrong about every foreign policy issue. It's one thing to seem ignorant when you don't have much experience, it's another thing to seem ignorant when you have decades of experience.

    I am not advocating that they should or should not. However, having Reagan on Mount Rushmore doesn't sound half bad. :grin: After all, he did bankrupt the Soviet Union which lead to their collapse 2 years after his term. Not sure why Theodore Roosevelt is up there considering he did the same things as Bush did, and this president does, but that is because they are progressives.:wink:

    One of the sculptors who worked on Mt.Rushmore started the project. His family is continuing it.

    They started in 1948.
