I agree completely! And remember -- the most important thing in fairly taxing "the rich" is to make certain that no matter what artificial "tax bracket' they're in, they actually PAY! We can adjust the corrupted, fraudulent U. S. Tax Code so that, on paper, "the rich" appear to pay 99%, BUT, unless they actually PAY the tax, then they go right on doing what they do now (and have done for decades) -- PAY LITTLE OR NOTHING! Why?

Loopholes, shelters, exclusions, exemptions, write-offs, and all the other wretchedly unfair crap that riddles the U. S. Tax Code like holes in swiss cheese keep hordes of tax attorneys and tax accountants busy, making sure that Mr. and Ms. Big-a-bucks don't actually pay squat, no matter what "tax bracket" they are in.

And ya know what? After being in office since late January 2009, Comrade Obama, "the progressive champion of the common folk" , hasn't to this day done one ****ing thing to actually reform the U. S. Tax Code! Ya know why? Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the "Limousine Liberals" who prop him up don't want to pay a fair tax anymore than the "oppressive, racist, right-wing capitalists" who make up the opposition. So, the rest of us are stuck in the Middle Class, paying for everything. The poor can't pay; the rich won't pay, so we get all the costs of living in this "paradise" jammed up our asses....

This guy wants to charge loan interest to poor people. LOL. For some, selfish decadence is a way of life. Hey dude, how about we get billionaires to pay the equivalent of loan interest, on all the money they are pillaging society for - I guess we could call that taxation (without loopholes) huh ? Or "an interest charge and the expectation of repayment" ? :giggle:

Not just a strawman, but a scarecrow...

Ever heard of Dave Ramses? Live within, and beneath your means, save accordingly and plan for the future. The world is governed by the types who do this. And the governed are the types that don't.

I refer to having things like a landline, or basic dumb phone as opposed to the nicest smart phone, selling your x-box, saving your cash instead of being ruled by the mad whims of whatever stray impulse that crosses your mind. Nobody is saying starve to death or go without lifesaving medical care, nobody but you that is.

Most families do not NEED the bulk of what they pay for, or they need to learn to shop around. Humans need Water, shelter, food, air, and love. Notice that a laptop, new hubcaps, and gold chains are not on that list. Nothing wrong with driving a beater automobile, until you can actually afford a new one.

Debt is the virus of our day. Almost everyone being infected.

What a lot of people dont understand is that most of the people on welfare are ALREADY WORKING. But most people think they are just welfare whores who cash thweir checks and go to the casino and the mobile store to gamble it all away and buy iphones.
