How can it be that Islam is blossoming all over the USA, with a 57% increase in the number of mosques over the past 10 years (Christian Science Monitor, Sept. 2010) ? How is it possible that an ideology, purporting to be a religion, which demands Sharia law (an automatic violation of Article 6, Section 2 of the US Constitution - the Supremacy Clause), could even be allowed to practice its propaganda, constantly preaching the violation of scores of American laws ? And also in violation of US Code Seditious Conspiracy (18 U.S.C. § 2384) is a crime under US law.
"If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined or imprisoned not less than 20 years, or both."

The question is simple. Being that Islam demands the imposition of Sharia Law, which demands supremacy over all/any other law (including the US Constitution), shouldn't it be banned ? Instead of 1800 (or however many there are) mosques in the US, shouldn't there be none, with all mosques converted into homeless shelters or buildings providing some kind of needed social service ?

And shouldn't Muslim Brotherhood front organizations like CAIR, ISNA, MSA, MAS, et al of their Jihadist ilk, be shut down as the subversive traitors that they are ? If not, why not ?

Freedom of Religion kind of prevents that.

Not really. The Supremacy Clause trumps the 1st Amendment. The 1st Amendment really is one of the weakest parts of the Constitution (While the Supremacy Clause is the strongest). The 1st Amendment is really nothing more than a general guideline as evidenced by the numerous exceptions to it (ex. the right of free speech has > "fighting words", inciting a riot, slander, libel, perjury, sedition, treason, yelling fore in a crowded theater, etc) - all illegal forms of speech.

Likewise, freedom of religion can't trump the Supremacy Clause. If some people declared themselves a religion and said their rituals were going around and shooting horses and setting forest fires, do you think theu would be allowed to do those illegal acts under the guise of freedom of religion ? Of course they wouldn't.

As the Supremacy Clause says :"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."
That "any Thing in the Constitution" part includes the 1st Amendment.

    Good luck with that.

I'm not exactly a fan of Islam, but considering that we even consider Scientology a religion, I seriously doubt we would revoke our recognition of Islam as one and thereby allow for your idea to work.

Shouldn't matter whether Islam is recognized as a religion or not. Even if it is, here's the deal. You have freedom of religion IF you do not put yourself as supreme above the US Constitution and its laws. Problem with Islam is it does just that, and thereby is unconstitutional (Violation of the Supremacy Clause - Article 6, Section 2)

What if a Christian denomination states that God's laws are above the laws of man?

I agree that Islam is not a religion. It's obvious how Islam came to be purported as a "religion". When the founders of it were espousing imperialist genocidal mass murder, extreme misogyny, pedophilia, kidnapping/slavery, torture/mutilation, racial and sexist discrimination, and other vile things, and were looking for troops to join them in their conquests throughout Asia Minor, they needed something very powerful and extreme to offset and shield them from the severe condemnation they were sure to get.
The answer was religion. By pretending that the Koran, and all of its hatred and immorality was the word of God, they forced the people to accept it. After all, nobody wants to go against God do they ?

As this grandiose con job spread, over time it became deeper and deeper entrenched as a religion, and more and more difficult to abolish or reform.
And it spread only because the murderous Muslim marauders who spread it killed 270 million people around the world to do that. Many, if not most, Muslims living today, trace their ancestry back to people who were non-Muslims and were forced to become Muslims. Hell of a way for someone to call himself a Muslim.

Ban all religions except pastafarianism which should be adopted by the state as it is the only true religion that does not interfere with politics.

Yes, it does make for some interesting reading.

    I particularly liked:

That would be supremacist IF they were requiring people to obey a seperate set of laws apart from US laws (many of which conflicting with US laws). Up to now, I have seen that with Islam. Not so with the Christians.

Read the law you quoted again. What do you notice?
"By force" is repeated over and over again.
Do you see that happening? Massive violent uprisings of Muslims all over the country?
If we chased Islam from our shores, who would you hate next? Who would be your next target?

Yeah ? So ? Don't you think the Muslim Brotherhood's declaration of war (the infamous Explanatory Memorandum) upon America meets the definition of "by force ?" They're not exactly intending to ask the American people for power.

As for who who else to hate ? Only thing to hate is hatred. That would be the Koran (cover to cover).

I don't like all the Catholic churches by my house. The priests there have done things to little boys.

How is it that we can have churches in the US that are against homosexuals and have shown racism in the past?

    Get over it.

Unless they actually do something, there is nothing you can do about it.

Just because you don't like their views or you don't like them doesn't mean you can just take away their rights...

ISLAM is not only the enemy of America......but the WORLD.

Proof of that is the Historically Documented Mass Murderer, Thief, Rapist & Pedophilic Rapist Mohammed's FIRST DICTUM whereby the World is tobetaken over by ISLAM by FORCE.

No, I'm not anyone's sock puppet.

There's nothing "funny" about me choosing that quote: it was the first one I came to that made any sense.

As someone who supports the Constitution, I would say no. I've had a few roommates who were Muslim and I got along with them most of the time. I will note for you that the time I didn't get along with one of them was that he was squatting for free and would (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) that there wasn't enough food, but he was a lazy bastard not because he was Muslim. The other guy was an awesome roommate from Turkey.

You don't get it. They DON'T HAVE the right to be supreme over the US Constitution and US laws. The Catholics (whatever misdeeds some in their ranks may have committed) don't proclaim themselves above everything else.
What Muslims HAVE DONE is this unconstitutional, illegal, violation of the Supremacy Clause, and US Code 2384, as well. So no, I don't get over it. We don't "get over" US law. We abide by it.

Don't freak out... we've always had freedom of religion here.

The key is to KEEP RELIGION SEPARATE FROM GOVERNMENT (power). That way, the rights of all (to believe, not believe or believe something else) are (necessarily) maintained.

Problem is many Christians (on the FAR RIGHT) 'unwittingly' open the door to RELIGIOUS TYRANNY, by demanding that "government" be THE ENFORCER of their values, beliefs and convictions. Their narrow mindedness, intransigence and intolerance... will ultimately serve to enslave them.

No, I'm not saying that "Christianity" (or other religion) is somehow 'wrong' or 'invalid'... simply that not everyone will ever be aligned with the exact same religious values, doctrines or beliefs.

Again, if we MAINTAIN SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE... we then have good reason to let people believe/worship as they will; as long as what they believe does NOT infringe upon the basic freedoms of others (and that includes, NOT believing as others insist or perhaps demand they 'must').

You have 4 milion Muslims. Who attend mosques and live peacefully by Sharia law.

But if you want to ban them, go ahead.

But only if you like suicide bombers popping their loads in Starbucks, Walmarts and metro substations in the rush hour.

I'm sorry, I don't see the Muslims trying to overthrow our government.

I see Tea Party folk doing something similar, but that is OK because they are predominately Christian.
