Whataboutism is reflexive for you, isn't it? You stated:
If pro-2A repubs are fascist re: guns, what does that say about pro gun-control Dems and the anti gun left? More or less fascist when it comes to guns?

Problem is....government can revoke privileges. The right to bear arms is a right to dissuade government from becoming abusive!

A coworker of mine got into an argument with his wife once upon a time & beat the sh!t out her. Put her in the hospital. Had to surrender his guns for a year. Had he committed another violent felony, he'd have been prohibited from owning any guns at all, ever. I have no problem with that. Rights come with responsibilities. The guy who ran over all those people at the xmas parade in Wisconsin tried to do the same thing to his baby mama just a few weeks earlier. You comfortable with him having guns?

Applying a limitation to machine guns for all is different from applying it only to a select group, and both the left and right support that

it would be like saying only black people can't falsely yell fire in a theater, that would not fly, but saying no one can applies to all equally

The Hypocrisy with Democrats has no bounds, They can't stop screaming about Jan 6th calling it Insurrection day, but before Jan 6th 2021 on June 9th of 2020 Democrats including our Governor of Washington State sat back and watched several blocks of Seattle and a Police station taken over by Liberal extremists for 3 WEEKS! and instead of calling that an insurrection, Seattle's mayor called it a Summer of Love! even though 4 people were murdered. Jan 6th was one day.

Rolling my eyes at this point.
Who are these fascist repubs restricting gun rights? Why are they more fascist than the gun grabbing left? There's a lefty prime minister to our north who's just banned all handgun sales, public & private. He says "You can’t use a gun for self-protection in Canada. That’s not a right that you have.” Is he a fascist? Yes or No?

list the Republican State that allows ex-felons to vote and own hand guns to protect their homes and families

doesn't sound like they support the right to vote or the right to own guns

First, I'm afraid that I don't know what "lwop" means.

    Re:
I don't know but it seems like too many violent criminals are receiving little if any punishment for heinous crimes.

    Re:
I feel that all of our rights should be strictly preserved however when someone butchers 4 innocent people they've proven that they don't value human life enough to deserve the same rights as the law abiding.

    Thanks,

Doesn't surprise me that Liberals would want ex felons to be able to own a guns, it's like allowing a Pedophile to work at a Kindercare after he's been released from prison. I don't want ex felons that have a violent past being able to have a Gun, they lost that right when they decided to commit their crimes.

States that allow people to possess guns or get gun permits after felony convictions: Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, S. Dakota, Wyoming.
Here's the table that breaks down - state by state - felon voting restrictions by the following statuses: prisoners, probationers, parolees, freed ex felons.

It's becoming increasingly difficult to take you seriously. Presumably you expect your questions to be addressed & answered. Still waiting on you to answer this one:
Why are pro-2A repubs fascist, but the gun grabbing left anything but? You pound your chest that Repubs are fascist when they restrict the gun & voting rights of felons. Are Dems who do the same thing fascist too? If not, why?

Of course not. When you do such horrid acts, all rights should be suspended! In most cases....even liberty! Just use a little common sense and what the founders intended!
Instead Soros backed and Democrat Prosecutors let them out on the street with no cash bail!

    life without parole

I agree, the prisons are filled with the war on drugs crimes and real violent criminals are getting out with long rap sheets

"when someone butchers 4 innocent people"

they should be locked up forever, thus no reason to weaken our rights

once any American has served their time, all their rights should be restored, punishment comes during sentencing, we want longer punishment, sentence them longer.. simple

I do not want violent people released from prison, do you think "lists" keep children safe? if someone is so dangerous, they should not be on the streets

doesn't surprise me that republicans wants to turn our rights into privileges

Yet! in Democratic controlled cities across The United States, violent people ARE! being released from prison early and you want these individuals being allowed to purchase a Gun. Yup! makes a lot of sense to me, how could that possibly cause any problems

FreshAir only seems to use "fascist" in conjunction with Republicans. Methinks he doesn't know what a fascist is.

You're right, we shouldn't crowd the prisons with non violent drug users and even non violent drug dealers, tax evaders or others who are no physical or mental threat to others.

It is wars on inanimate objects and substances that seem to be the greatest threat to our rights.

    Thanks,

I haven't heard enough about the surviving roommates. It seems curious that the police have absolutely ruled them out and yet have no suspects. I don't believe the theory that a woman couldn't have done this, especially if the victims were in their beds asleep, and especially two women. On the other hand, it does seem possible with people that age that they could have slept through it, especially if ear buds and heavy drinking were involved. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the perpetrator would have come through the sliding glass door and didn't know there were more people down in the basement?? Why don't we get to see their timeline, as well as the victim's? Might help to rule them out in the eyes of the public. How has law enforcement ruled them out anyway, if they don't know who DID do it? And I also would like to know why the ruling out seems so emphatic. Given that these kids seem to be from pretty comfortable families, are they afraid they would be a flight risk? Or do their parent's donate to someone somewhere? Just guessing but I suspect they were at least involved somehow.

Bullshit, you look at this list of the top 15 murder cities in The United States and tell me how many of them are led by Republicans. I save you the work, they're all led by Democrats and even though some of them are in Conservative States, the murders are so bad in that one shithole city led by Democrats that it boosts that conservative state into one with a high murder rate, but Democrats like to play a shell game of just mentioning the state instead of the problem area city ran by Democrats.

The Jan 6 move was a strong and lethally violent move toward autocracy, an attempt to defeat democracy, a common GOP theme that we see continuing whether with violence or with law.

George Floyd was one of numerous examples of police violence against minorities. That violence was supported by the right wing, who continues to defend police violence against minorities and fully opposes requiring changes. It is an example of intolerable racism.

I happened to be living less than a mile from the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone at the time. There is no possible way to propose that that event was aimed at overthrowing our government. So, I have NO idea why you even bother to bring that up here. It was a protest against police treatment of minorities both nation wide and in Seattle. The police station happens to be adjacent to the park where protest events are commonly held and planned marches are initiated. For most such events, protesters are glad they are there.
