    There is a degree to which one has to ask, what cover up? Some of the most impressive cases come directly from government files. The fallacy may be thinking anyone understands all of this.

    This took place back when the Iranian military was an arm of the US military, which is why intelligence officers were on the scene. Note that this report went all the way to the White House and Joint Chiefs of staff, along with about every major intel group. Note also that the source is the NSA itself.

    Of course, at the time we were far more worried about this being secret Soviet technology, than aliens. But now we know that couldn't have been the case.

    Two things going on here.

    First is whether to believe claims made from people who describe all the who, what, where, why and whens. Lets assume what these people state to be true for the sake of argument.

    You can see things that are not explainable as you have nothing to actually compare it to. Ive never seen this so its something I cant identify. Its in the sky. Its an unidentified flying object. That term can go from 0 to 100 at lightning speed. Prove to me its not man made. Prove to me its not a natural occurrence that now known can be explained someday. Prove to me it some extraterrestrial from some unknown planet who came within eyeshot of earth. Otherwise it becomes my opinion. My opinion based on logic would dictate its more man made or natural unexplained/explained than alien.
    Till I see a shred of anything to make me believe extraterrestrials visited this planet, Ill keep and open mind that it could happen and if it did we would know it.

    Ive been in the eye of a hurricane also. It is the freakiest thing. Its dead calm. Blue sky and birds flying around. Like a super terrible storm passed and the sun comes out. People walk around and then the back end of it comes in and its like OMG. I was glad I got to have had the experience. Once was enough. lol

    Same with one time Im driving in my old VW bug and its snowing like crazy. I was alone on a road and I couldn't see good so I stopped and got out to clear the snow away from the windshield that piled up and the sky lite up with lightning. More than once. It was snowing like crazy, the sky was that nighttime snowstorm brownish color and it was lightning. Very cool.

    You didn't read the report! I can tell. :)

    Read it and then try to argue it was a case of mistaken identity. Note also that the witnesses include two air force pilots, several tower operators, a General, and a family living near the location where something landed on the ground. [There are several cover pages for evaluation, followed by the actual report. Note also that it apparently disabled avionics and weapons systems when the pilot tried to fire a missile.

    Years later two former CIA agents obtained copies of data from spy satellites and confirmed the RADAR tracks. It was seen by our spy satellite as well.

    Not proof of ET but damned hard to explain away.

    Are you tellin' me there is a government cover up of UFO/extraterrestrials that they have specific scientific proof that they are not willing to disclose? Are you also telling me that I didn't read that?
    Ok. Your opinion with regard to UFO's is just that. Your opinion. Your opinion with regard to me reading the link was wrong.
    I read the linked information and was not even close to being impressed beyond people saw something and second hand information.
