7 hours' sleep later and I am back up early in the mornin'.

50-50 coffee / hot chocolate mix for my morning elixir.

I found that drinking too much coffee all day or all night long gives me nausea and the dry heaves. So I now mix it with hot chocolate and it works better for me.

You need to seriously consider just good bottled water.
The best of all { any } diet drinks.Man can go as long as
    a month w/o eating.But only a few days w/o drinking or water.
I never-ever buy soda pop.I did start buying Rockstar Energy drink.
It tastes fantastic but it also has B-complex vitamins and caffeine
boost.I only drink half a can every other day.
I drink water all other times except with meals.I have good quality
    Fruit drinks { loaded with antioxidants } or POM { Pomegrante concentrate }
With Dinner each night Red Wine and a vodka/orange splash with
    appetizers.

Watch that bottled water... its not inspected, you know. Better off drinking tap water. Or buy yourself a Brita. ;)

    There's ways to check.If the source is not given { like a spring source }
when saying on the bottle - spring water - then be watchful.
Some water will say Purified. There may be a Guartantee to that effect, also.
The general rule is The More expensive the bottled water the more it
has to be advertised as authentic.
    Like Perrier or Fiji.
    Some Artesian waters are expensive.
The best tasting water I ever had was also expensive and came in
a very hard glass bottle VOSS.
I am always on the lookout for newer and better designer water.
Water is by far The Most Important item we put in our bodies.

While that sounds rather tasty, if the stomach is bothering you, try a quick mix of warm water (about an inch worth in a glass) and a 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, mix until the water is back to 'clear'. Swig down, twice a day (morning and night). Clears up that 'sour stomach' feeling, know it all too well......

Fiji is the best I've found in bottled waters.

Have a reverse osmosis system at home on well water, I bottle it up and take it with me when I can.

Reverse osmosis water is horrible for your body. It would be ok to drink as part of a 30 day detox but not for everyday use.

Its not the source that's in question, its the bottling procedure. There are only 4 federal inspectors for bottled water plants in the US and who knows about foreign rules. Not saying bottled water is unsafe. Just pointing out the water from your kitchen tap is tested every day and you can wash your own glass. :lick:

My general elixir without alcohol is tonic water.

With alcohol it is mescal tequila.

    May I suggest Cognac,The V.S. { Very Special } is now cheaper
    than most Bourbon and Scotch.
It is very friendly for cooking and also as a night cap.
It has history as being used when one is suffering a cold.
As in a Hot Toddy. It has antimicrobial properties and also
can thin out mucus. It also is calming. There's a reason that
Brandy { Or Cognac it's high-end relative } was used in those
wooden collar flasks carried by St. Bernards to help revive and
warm those caught in Snow disasters.

RO water is aggressive. It has been stripped of its salts and minerals and is not happy about it. It will begin to reclaim its minerals at the first opportunity, and has no problem taking them right out of your body. You can’t pipe RO water in copper pipe as it will dissolve the pipe from the inside out. It’s pretty powerful.

Maybe but quality bottled water { they have their names on the bottles
and therefore much to lose in reputation } can easily afford the best available
    testing equipment and regularly use.
I don't trust Federal anything.Look how the feds treated the
    Clive Bundy family and friends.

There aren't any health risks..At least as far as the quality of the water and
it's health benefits. The problem exists that with Reverse Osmosis systems
they run slow and need to have their filters checked often.
Vapor distilling like Smartwater is quality, very good tasting water.
Reverse Osmosis water like Dasani and Aquafina are quite popular
    and taste clean.

As foolardi says, there aren’t any health risks from the quality of water ie, the are no bad chemicals in it. The problem with it is it is too pure. Water is a solvent, and water void of minerals is a strong solvent. It will absorb minerals right out of your body. A lot of bottled water is RO but has some basic salts and minerals replaced. Your RO system is going to remove calcium and magnesium to a near non detectable level. Your TDS level is probably less than 5 PPM. Water is aggressive at that level.

Most people do not know that pure water is not good for you.

Glad you are helping them to see that.
