I don't believe this for a minute. There was a guy in Azerbijjan some years ago who had records saying the was 167. Problem is the records had been doctored by Stalin's census takers to make everyone look older and he was scarcely a 100. The census taker had even taught him old songs and plied him on the history of the are, replete with bandits who were the last remnants of the Tatars in the area.

Strangely, I've read somewhere else that our bodies wear out at 110 but very few of us ever get there for some reason.

    Morning y'all.

Welcome to Friday, day of 'you want what, when?' and 'take a number, I'll get back with you'.

It is not recommended to get between me and the chocolate donuts this morning......

Read it "somewhere" many years ago. It MAY be wrong. Does it stand to reason or do you have a better idea?

Considering we don't know the caveman's protective instincts other than by hopeful guess, we may never know.

Since we depict the caveman dragging a female around by the hair, which also may be a guess, we really don't know a whole lot about the family or clan constructive in the way of 'protectiveness'. One can provide the caveman with a whole lot of traits, but it would include some serious guessing.....

Turns out, Neanderthals, which is about as caveman as you can get, were probably swingers - and I don't mean from trees.

Interesting notion - the pursuit of sex led to the development of language.

    I can relate.

How about that as a pickup line: I'd like to have sex because my tribe doesn't have a sufficient population to sustain the species.

I wouldn’t walk across the street to see it. What a farce. Anyone that thinks they are royal needs the snooty kicked out of them.

Supposedly the theory holds that Brits are totally enamored
with their Royalty { Royal families } as told yesterday on Fox
by a former Royal guard who was personally invited to the Wedding.
I'm not so sure about that. That was definitely true when Princess
Diana was around and even more so when she died. But a lot
has changed in Britain since that time.A whole helluva lot.

I'm not trying to appear morbid but Weddings do nothing for me.
Funerals ... totally another story.Very few Americans my age are
likely to forget the J.F.K. Funeral or even Winston Churchill.
Because Funerals are very serious and somber and sad.
    I like Sad,dramatic movies,most.Because there is something
intrinsically compelling about sadness.Humans sometimes cry
when confronted with Joy.Joy and sadness are sometimes
co-dependent.There is a saying ... You have to experience
    sadness to know happiness.

" The word ' Happy ' would lose it's meaning
if it were not balanced by sadness ."
