That is partly it.In a fierce Dance { couples } Marathan it's like
maybe someone needs to put them out of their Misery.
That movie is really worthy watching.I doubt it's on DVD.
I saw it as a VHS rental a couple times.I always liked Gig Young.
    He did a brilliant Twilight Zone - Walking Distance - { 1959 }
which is one of my favorite of all.
He also did a TV movie I have only seen a couple times
where he plays a beer drunk who lives somewhere out
west { a desert town } and operates a run-down diner with this
    outlandish Neon Ceiling.It's Titled - The Neon Ceiling - { 1971 }
a real against type movie for a guy who played mostly button
down Executive types.I like those kind of characterizations.
    I am a character-styled writer.Character,Setting and plot are
what matter.NOT what day of the week or kind of Breakfast/Lunch
is about to take place. So Pedestrian.Like one mise well just do as
Otis { town drunk } does on - The Andy Griffith Show - and
sashay staggering into the Mayberry Jail and wait until lunch is served.

I think I saw it at the the-ater when it was released.

    I was bored.

It had to do with a mercy killing if I remember correctly.

Another good movie and Very Southern.I read the book as a
teen.All-star cast with Michael Landon in a strange role as
an albino who spends a lot of time running off.Aldo Ray sucks as usual.
Robert Ryan is great,as usual.Robert Ryan could beat Aldo Ray to
a pulp with one arm tied behind his back.Ryan was 4 time NCAA
College Heavyweight Boxing champ.Ryan was as good as it gets
    in the Boxing movie - The Set-Up - { 1949 } with a nice role by hottie
    Audrey Totter.,

The movie captured that era really nice.Plus it also did a great job
of characterization.Red Buttons was especially good. The only other
    movie Red Buttons was as good in was - Sayonara - { 1957 }
with Marlon Brando and James Garner.

But the joke? He keeps dedicating an acre of land to God and taking it back.

I Due Duhclare that ain't what Erskine Caldweld was driving at.
Plus all that digging. The entire yard was riddled with huge holes
like large snake pits.Eventually the side of their home was dedicated
to the biggest dig.Of course Ginger { Gilligans Island } or Tina Louise
was worth the price of admission alone. If anything the theme of
Obsession was overidding.Like how Being Religious can be
dominant.Patriarch Robert Ryan was a man consumed with his
digging and finding that pot of gold.It was carried over to his immediate family.
To such degree that even the local putz { played to great comic effect by
Buddy Hackett as the slovenly farmer } named Pluto { not to ever be
confused with Bluto of Popeye } is constantly trying to gain favor for
both his chance at being elected Sheriff and also to just hang around
another of the Town's cutie pies.

I just woke from my sleep after last nights graveyard shift.

Now I have 7 hours before I need to go to my next graveyard.

I will be working throughout the night on the July 4th celebrations.

The site is outdoors and between 3 cities. It is dark enough there to see the Andromeda Galaxy (follow the V on the left side of the W that forms Andromeda about a hand's breadth and there you will see a fuzzy spot which is the galaxy).

From here I should be able to watch fireworks shows from all 3 cities.

Most people do not know that the Declaration is actually a Masonic charge sheet. The King and the Founding Fathers were all (or mostly all) Freemasons.

For me, the 4th Of July marks the middle of the summer.

It means I need to start working on my archery skills to get ready for the early buck deer and bull elk hunts coming up in the fall.

Quiet 4th for me, staying home and out of the beachgoers way. Traffic has been heavy lately headed south towards the beach. You would not believe the cars, trucks, campers, and motorcycles headed towards the beach.

As in food is liable to end up anywhere.

A few days ago, I was eating my salad. I was just taking the fork out of my mouth when a movement caught my eye. I could do nothing, except watch helplessly as a chunk of bleu cheese slid off my plate, bounced off the table, and landed on my chair.

It was a wicker chair. It took me a while to get the dressing out of the weave.

As Drudge put up this year marks a first as far as Lowest
precent of Americans when asked { Gallup poll } how Proud they
are to be Americans.A record low of just 47 % of Americans
considered themselves to be Extremely Proud Americans.
First time a poll reflected less than a majority { 51 % or more }.
2003 saw that number to be 70 %.
    2017 saw 51 %.
BTW that bar has sitting on the top shelf ALL Wine bottles.
So it's a Wine bar.Which could cause problems.
Wine has a very short shelf life when sitting out at room temp.
Like 12 hrs. to maybe 2 days.Stored at 40-45 degrees maybe a week.
That is how Gerard Depardieu handles his leftover wine. His Passport
says he an actor & Vintner.
He has completed his 2018 movie :
    - Saving My Pig - shot in Bulgaria.

It may help to use modern metal forks instead of what the Middle
    Age reflected or Wooden utensils.
    Just a thought.
