    Just to be a nudge, you don't need high glycemic carbs unless you are going to be very physically active in a short period of time. Lower glycemic carbs, such as those found in veggies and proteins, are better for you. Just sayin'. ;)

    I will smash 1/4 ripe avocado onto a slice of sourdough toast and that’s the bulk of my carbs for the day. Well except beer. I make my beer as low carb as I can but have no way of proving the count.

    Got the water sample results back from the lab for the tap water at our temporary housing unit. It’s within correctable range to be beer worthy and going to brew 10 gallons tomorrow.
    Yay beer!

    It’s the chloride ions changing how your sense of taste perceives the coffee. It is the ratio of chloride to sulfate. More chloride gives it a smoother, softer taste and a better mouthfeel. More sulphate brings the bitter forward.

    My wife bought a new bath candle and asked if I liked the smell of it. I leaned over and gave it a whiff and asked her why she would buy a candle that smells like singed nose hair.
