    I handle first aid for workers with needles through their fingers and hands cut open and bleeding from reaching into machines, etc, all the time.

    Aside from being an armed guard I am also an EMT.

    I worked 12 1/2 hours last night on graveyard and slept all day afterwards until just now -- for another 12 hours.

    Cooking dinner now.

    Search (in 'More') for Smarties Bar (thread title/Smartmouthwoman) and the year Kodiak died. It should bring up bars from that year... then you'll have to scroll thru to find your post.

    Only way I know to find old bar posts, but it seems to work back to 2009.

    We have communal coffee, and take turns buying the flavored creamers. My current favorite is the Vanilla Caramel.

    I used to be a one-cup-a-day drinker (coffee, that is) but I've moved on to two. That's my max, or I turn into a jittery ADHD mess, besides the 15 trips to the restroom to remove the coffee.

    Hiya Daise! Kinda fun to see the old bars. Back then, they made me start a new one every 500 posts. Remember when bars used to have a theme? My fav were the cruise bars... 'Coffee now being served on the Promenade Deck!"

    What a ridiculous thing to say. There's no reason to always assume there are IED's near by when deployed. They just are.

    The owner has discussed this and agrees. At some point the site will change to HTTPS. Hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later.

    We been stuck in this dive for years now. I want the Floating Bar. The Bar Bus tours. The Ski Lodge bar. The Bowling Ally bar.
