A good crab cake would go well with that.

It's sad what has become of Baltimore, but I guess the same could be said for many of our cities. We used to go up there when I was younger to see the Orioles play at old Memorial Stadium (the Colts had yet to slink out of town to Cleveland in the middle of the night)...

...and we went to more than a few food festivals. The only place where I've had better seafood was in New Orleans.

Speaking of the Chesapeake Bay, Maryland Public TV shot a great travel video/DVD of the Bay from helicopter. It starts at the North end of the Bay and works its way south into Hampton Roads in Virginia.

Browns ... Schmounds ! It was Art Modell who made the decisions
to vacate old Municipal Stadium { used for both the Cleveland Indians and
Cleveland Browns }. The stadium eventually had no foundation left.
The Supports where about a thick as a pencil in some spots.
Be it a Fat pencil like the ones used in the 50's.

You're right, TC - it was Indy. I got my team-swiping cities bass ackwards.

    *hangs head in shame*

PS. I'm expecting your Browns to be real good this year. Cue the Apocalypse!

To this day, I believe that Art intentionally made The Original Browns stink as a team so he could move them without much opposition.

Not hardly.Being from Cleveland it is a Jinxed city.
Some places { Big City's } are prone to that. Plus until the
Rock N Roll museum was put up Downtown Cleveland was a real
drag.I went to the - Mad Hatter - often. But the chicks were all from
the West side { Like Parma }.As an East sider we don't get along.
West Side chicks are mostly ethnic and kinda dumb.
I only went to the Coliseum { downtown } a few times.Way too big and busy
The Flats were ok but not exactly my cup of Tea.

Good luck choosing a color. My roofer actually drove me around looking at various choices. Hard to pick from a single shingle. ;)

I chose a dove gray... love it. Different from my block's boring tan & brown roofs.

Ridged metal roof is quite the 'thing' these days, plus durable and available in just about any color you can imagine.

Personally, I think it would look good with a tartan plaid.... ;)

IPA’s are good. They got stupid and off the charts there for a couple of years with microbrews trying to out do one another. That fad has passed and things are back in the realm of reason.
Beer should be like a song, flavor notes in the proper tempo, balance, and a finish that leaves you happy. Lead vocals, lead drums, lead bass, lead guitar all at the same time makes for a mess. Sometimes less is more.

For now, my color is called "Weathered Wood". It's a medium light grey.

I’ve never lived that close to my neighbors. Seems like you would be able to hear each others fighting and screwing.

Metal roofs aren't that common here, yet. I didn't go with one because I was worried about noise when it rains.

It does get hot up there. I know from experience. These days I would need a helper for the heavy lifting...and shingle removal.

If I get six feet off the ground, the ladder starts bouncing from my shaking.

I agree but the problem exists as to how one knows if that
crab cake is ALL THAT.Most Crab cakes sold seem about the same.
But they could be as far apart in taste and texture as a good loaf
of bread. You can't tell by looks and how it's advertised. That is why
buying Fresh Fish is the best way to buy fish.Yoiu can see and smell
if the Fish is fit to eat.Unlike if a Post is fit to read or digest.

When I worked construction I used to arrive on the job early and walk the steel before the rest of the crew arrived...to stop shaking before they showed up. After a while I got used to it.
