I think China wants to take over the world economically, not with its military

So after Biden surrendered in Afghanistan and Taiwan, people are surprised other countries are wanting to take their own security back into their own hands.

Biden's incompetence is almost as effective as Trump's promise to stop funding our presence in other countries.

Then why did he take 32,500 troops out, leaving only 2500 before he left office ?

He did so precisely because that was the level of troops that still maintained the Afghan army. Biden decided that was too many.

No it wasn't. It was to defend US diplomats ONLY.

Trump left office in January. Biden had full authority to handel the withdrawal in any way he wanted to including adding more troops if needed.

Check out my thread in the oppinion forum. Most Americans agree in a poll taken that Biden is to blame for the withdrawal.

So NOW, its Bidens fault for not adding troops because the Trump plan was so bad ?

FTR, I never said Biden didn't have some capability in all of this. But the plan was a clusterfuck that put us where we are today

Biden could have altered that plan any way he wanted to and he did by extending our time there.

The plan would have probably worked if Biden called for everyone to evacuate months in advance and helped get visas and plane tickets for those that needed them.

The desperation from the left to keep this about Trump is a huge fail as polls are showing.

Explain to me how Biden is responsible for the shitty plan of the Trump administration, and the fact that the withdrawal was 90% done before Biden even took office. Thats NOT a defense of Biden. He has culpability here also for some of his actions, and even more for his inactions. But lets be clear here, this his is not a problem with the withdrawal, this is a problem with perceptions, and the consequences of leaving. Public opinion is 90% shaped by politicians.

The withdrawal of Troops was mostly done but not of the civilians. Biden could have done this alot differently.

You blame Trump but polls show you are in the minority. Polls show its mostly Democrats still backing Biden. Most Independents disagree with you.

So you are literally saying that Trumps plan was crap, just as I have been espousing since day one ?

YES, Trump was a YUUUGGGGEEEEE fail. That is proven by the fact that what the right is blaming Biden for is not fixing the crappy plan Trump executed ? Why didt Trump account for any of these people. Why didnt Trumps plan address any of this ?

YES, Biden has screwed up a lot. I have a clear record on that in this board

The South Koreans have most of the Military Authority to begin with, and most of the responsibility as well. This process has been happening for awhile .

Nobody is guessing, it actually happened. Nobody debates that the plan used to withdraw from Afghanistan was written and signed by DJT.

False, it is you who is making things up. The objective fact is reckless racist joe left the arms in the hands of the enemy. He didn’t have to, he said he had a plan, and he did not lol. He abandoned Americans, he armed our enemies.

To be fair we gave those weapons to the Afghan army who in return mostly surrendered to the Taliban. I did read a single Afghan unit did fight back.

We were expecting the Afghan army to fight back I think so we chose not to take those weapons back. I could be wrong.

No one could have guessed the Afghan government/forces would fall within days or the US would have most likely kept all the troops there instead downsizing to 2500. The last president out of a lost war will always experience major issues. Passive Gerald Ford will be remembered for the fall of the Saigon Embassy even though he had very little to do with the war in Vietnam.
