Do you imagine that the amount of seepage that happens globally in the oceans is more or less destructive than say a concentrated release to an area like the BP oil well head break?

Which would imagine is more destructive to an ecosystem or ecosystems?

I'm not singling out anyone in particular, just those who haven't been directly affected by an oil leak or spill.

For hundreds of miles in all directions there will be no evidence that humanity was there even if you could dig through the ash that will cover the area. A ground wave a few hundred feet high moving at a few hundred miles per hour will radiate out for a few hundred miles killing just about everything in its path. Then the suffering begins out past the total destruction as the people trapped in their homes and work places are hit by the following blast wave of scalding ash. Here it Texas we will have plenty of guns and ammo to keep the liberals that survive from eating out fat neighbors. The question is: when to eat the fat neighbor? Let her get too skinny and you have wasted a lot of meat.

Your ignorance is dangerous to you and those around you. Exxon is a leader in batty technology with plastics that are used in Lithium batteries. It make surprise you to know that the people who work for Exxon are very smart people who can adapt to new circumstances before you get your panties on.

At the risk of beating a dead horse (or replying to a three year old thread), Yellowstone National Park was not at all endangered by this spill (do liberals never learn basic facts or geography?). Water and oil flow downstream, and the headwaters of the Yellowstone river are in the park, and the river goes NE from there.
