    Steele will disagree with you.

No, my main complaint is that they are used to kill a lot of innocent folks.

Makes sense, but he also shouldn't have been able to purchase a AR15 then he wouldn't have had the gun he needed to carry out his mission of death.

    I already said it.

Repubs love a cheap voting block as well.

I guess you haven't been paying any attention to the Trump tax cut.

Or do folks who don't have as much money try and buy more things and get further in debt buying them.

    You defend them like one.

No that's not why she is a Tom because I disagree with her.

That's why I said to tell her to ask Omarosa and not you.

Wrapping your identity in your skin color, then attributing every problem you have to it.

Oh Great, I get a huge list to deal with.
    1. No, at the time, Democrats had them scared out of their wits and since Democrats controlled Government, not a heck of a lot could be said.
    2. King was 9 years older than I am and for many years, the public heard next to nothing. But keep in mind even he did not get the Democrats to deliver fast action.
    3. Your problem primarily was in the Democrat stronghold of the South. Out here in the West, I never heard of blacks getting beat up. But we were a Republican state at the time.
    4. Republicans despite the lies of Democrats were far more willing to vote for the rights. While some democrats wanted the rights, most did not. It caused one hell of a fight in congress when a prominent Democrat worked hard to kill the law. Chapped my ass? I was then a very loyal Democrat who had also been to Georgia in the Army so i had been told by blacks how it was at the time. I should have bolted the Democrat party then and there but man they can sure keep you loyal. Look how loyal you are. I finally got rid of them around 1980. Keep in mind that we Democrats of CA at the time did not have the same experiences as they did in the South.
    5. Japanese pals I have informed me they decided that the children must be fluent in English and not study Japanese. That they were going to be as good a citizen as possible. They tend to work better with others and they demanded high standards for their children in school. Sure they got reparations but they lived and it happened as they lived. They could force the democrats to pay them using pressure. Again it was the Democrats that locked them up and treated them like prisoners of war. Do you blame the Japanese for not supporting the democrats?
    6. No, the slaves were first captured in Africa and believe it or not, if slavery is normal where you are raised, it is not as thought of as here in the west. Back when Washington was president, he owned a herd of slaves to give you a glimpse at how many he owned. He thought nothing of owning them. I have been to his place and Jefferson's and they did not have fences that could have stopped a slave very well. I suspect with the slaves having a rich family over them, they actually could afford to properly care for slaves. At Washington's place, they apparently ate fairly well and had brick buildings as homes. Jefferson had them a bit closer to his mansion and again they seemed better off than the jungles of Africa, assuming it was jungle there. Apparently you never learned how lousy it was for supposedly free Americans who were locked up under armed guard and in terrible locations. All because a Democrat ordered them locked up.
Despite my school having a good number of Japanese, with next to zero blacks, while we heard of slavery, our teachers did not teach us what happened to the Japanese families. A Japanese man I was chatting with one time in the mountains commented they decided the best was was to act like american as fast as possible hoping this would help them end discrimination. He seemed happy with the progress.
    7. Correct on the names you said blacks got called. But do you know this? As a kid, i was called a prune picker. Sure sounds tame. But it was awarded by the locals to those who qualified as white trash. As a small boy, it was tough being white and having them say that to we children. I did not know blacks so I was not hearing them called anything. But bad names bother children the most I believe.
    8. You are right that blacks got to Japan but I do not recall them storming beaches nor fighting in the army alongside my engineer uncle who later died in Korea. I did not know blacks and do not know how bad they had it coming back from war. But had FDR not been a racist, things might have been better if your idea of better is dying on beaches. Truman is the first president I recall, and I saw him in front of me standing on the back of his train,. who did something better for Blacks. But he was from Missouri, little place called Independence. See his library some time and be surprised.
    9. What rally? See, since I met the first black, I tended to want to be friends with them. Mom used to tell us how lousy they got treated in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Made me sad. My assistant in the Army in 1962 was black and a pretty decent guy who played pro football. I enjoyed working with Dave. Dave thought highly of my parents too as they did of him. I spent the night at Dave's home in Oroville, CA. We drove many miles together in my car.

See, you assumed some bad things about me. At the end of your spiel you branded me racist. I am used to blacks unfairly saying such things. But they do not know me. So i kind of shrug it all off.

I have sold homes to a black football player and we got to be friends. And his brother is my friend and client. I just wish they acted as if playing football was the sport and stop being mickey mouse when scoring. Imagine the black baseball players playing dancing games when they get a hit. Looks amateurish.

I recall when one of my black clients got run by playing the Raiders by Marcus Allen. Allen i do not know but Anthony was on the Redskins and him I do know. Anthony though fast looked slow.
I never saw Anthony doing dumb things over a touchdown.

    10. My son is still the victim and as of now, I do not know anybody has been arrested.
    11. He later will change insurance firms but so far he has not seen a proposed settlement. I suggested a different firm that I vouch for.
    12. I do not think you would find any of my kids and stepkids being ... ahem racist. Do you not understand your group has the same problem? Don't you think some of your comments back to me are racist? Come on, admit it.
    13. I hope the rest of the posters judge me by my legal prose, my honest open discussion and do not sink so low as to say I am racist merely for chatting with a black man.

    Cool story, Bro'.

Now, speaking of Stacey Dash--I have a hard time thinking that this is anything more than a publicity stunt.

It is probably her audition for next year's Big Brother.

I tried to hit every question/statement he made. I owed him that much respect.
I had it suggested to me today that the Mexicans can put her into office. But she must win the primary and get more votes than the two top Democrats. She can't simply win the republican side though all the democrat has to do is win his side and the second democrat gets a chance by simply having more votes than Stacy. But the mexicans might put her over the top for a variety of reasons.

I am surprised that republican states did not yet pull the same voting stunt the Democrats pulled here in CA to block out all Democrats. CA puts Democrats in the top two positions. We could do it in other states.

You mean racist, conservatives mainly in the South.

There was a Civil Rights Movement going on before Dr. King, I am pretty sure you knew that or maybe not.

That's because like many in the South you were in denial of what was going on.

    Yea northern republicans, I agree.

    Yep Northern Democrats.

It was a Southern Democrat of course.

LOL yea I bet it did.

I know you didn't become a Republican until the 80s.

Oh I am pretty sure they did, you were probably in the same dilemma Trent Lott was in.

    Who am I loyal to?

Yea must have been the Reagan speech that moved you.

Yea, but black folks in CA dealt with the same racism in CA that black folks in the South dealt with.

Japanese folks are fluent in their history and pretty much all speak fluent Japanese.

So what do black folks want for their children?

LOL, whether you refer to someone as an "Uncle Tom" or not has nothing to do with their character and everything to do with whether they have an "R" or a "D" after their name. You aren't fooling anyone.

I don't need to fool anybody, it has everything to do with character for the simple fact that neither party was designed to help black folks.

Oh, did he put away his tailored suits, turn in his country club membership and go to work for a grocery store?
    I hadn't heard.

    That's a criminal, for ya'.
They just don't give a damn about the law!

Do you know where and how he got his guns? You should post your information then.
If you don't know, you shouldn't speculate.

    You say lots of things.

I thought they were dirty racists who only had white voters.
    Make up your meme.

    Pay attention to what?

    Do they?
That's their problem then. People have to live within their means. I wish our government would do the same.

He thought he was accepted after he picked the tailored suits, polished the golf clubs and picked up the groceries for the white members. Then he got a wake up call.

Isn't that why they are criminals.

Sunrise Tactical Supply and we have pretty much figured out why.

    We all do.

Does that mean the slave master wasn't a racist, they had free labor.

That the deficit goes up by 1.4 trillion, you whined for 8yrs that Pres Obama was raising it.

Wish in one hand and **** in the other one and see which one fills up the fastest.

Kind if sad you don't even know your own history.

"The Republicans started the NAACP in 1909 on Abraham Lincoln’s 100th birthday to counter the racist practices of the Democrats. The first black American to head the NAACP was Republican James Weldon Johnson who wrote the lyrics to "Lift Every Voice and Sing", the inspirational song that is considered to be the Black National Anthem.

Few blacks know that Republicans also started the Historically Black Colleges and Universities".

Republican Joseph Rainey of South Carolina was the first black to enter the House of Representatives.

Below is a list of the black Republicans elected to Congress during the Reconstruction era. Their lifespan is shown in parenthesis.

    United States Senate

Hiram Rhodes Revels (1822-1901); Republican – Mississippi; 1870-1871

    Blanche Bruce (1841-1898); Republican – Mississippi; 1875-1881

    House of Representatives

John Willis Menard (1838-1893); Republican - Louisiana; 1868

Joseph Rainey (1832-1887); Republican - South Carolina; 1870-1879

    Jefferson F. Long (1836-1901); Republican – Georgia; 1870-1871

Robert C. De Large (1842-1874); Republican - South Carolina; 1871-1873

    Robert B. Elliott (1842-1884); Republican - South Carolina; 1871-1874

    Benjamin S. Turner (1825-1894); Republican – Alabama; 1871-1873

Picked up groceries for white members? The head of the RNC? Tell us another story, Uncle Remus.

Yup! That's why endless gun laws are pointless.

Cite that fact and then tell me why.

Do you think it does? What an absurd non sequitur.

That's because he DID raise it more than any president in history.
And I don't accept your premise, anyway. https://www.heritage.org/budget-and...t-myths-about-tax-cuts-and-the-budget-deficit

What is this possibly supposed to mean? That "that's just how things are" attitude is defeatist bs.

Ask Steele Capt Kangaroo, he will tell you.

Only if they are not enforced.

    Google works great.

Fact: He shot and killed 17 children.

Well you should understand it fully.

Now it's a myth because a rightwing rag says so.

No that aren't just that way, some folks make them that way and then others fight to keep them that way and then others fight to change the BS.

The problem black folks have from a political support perspective, IMO, is that one party (D) takes them for granted, and so does nothing to court them, and the other (R) has written them off as lost, and so does nothing to court them. The BEST thing black folks, as a voting bloc, could do is break that cycle somehow. How that happens is up to them.

Criminals don't obey laws. Maybe you should tattoo that on your arm so you won't forget.

According to authorities the sale was absolutely legal.

Sorry. I don't speak gibberish. The more you insist your bat **** crazy comment makes sense the less it actually does.

That's what all the charts, graphs, facts and numbers that you didn't look at say. And I'm supposed to believe that tax cuts cause the deficit to rise because Paul Krugman and the rest of the left wing liars say so? The NY Times says the Trump tax cut will likely cause a rise in deficit. You know what likely means, right?

That's just about the size of it. Black folks see the Republican party as were thhe racist, rednecks, etc. are and the past year and a half has only reinforced that belief.

Face it, when you compared this lady to a Tom in 1918 you showed you don't know black history in America and have been duped by the Democrats. It may be you who is the tom.

The party they support makes damn sure to keep that perception front and center, no matter what.

But, one thing is certain: If black folks continue to do what they're doing with regards to party support, they're gonna continue getting what they're getting from the party they support. They best thing they could do is to try to get the parties to fight over them.

If the democrats think they're going to lose a large portion of the black vote, they will do something about it. If the republicans think they can make significant gains in the black vote, they will do something about it.

Actually many black folks have been duped by folks like you, teaching His-story instead of History. Yes, she is no different than those in 1818 or 1918.
