    Ok, macho guy?

Yeah I know you progressives think people can just steal and it's fine, and I think shooting a guy in the back is wrong, which is why if someone ever tried to rob me I would pistol whip his face into mashed potatoes after I shot him in the lower leg (which he will lose due to the fracture)...

This whole "let people steal" bull(*)(*)(*)(*) is nonsense...

What would you do if you caught me stealing your (*)(*)(*)(*)?

I'm sure most of that price is taxes. ($2.25 is combined federal and state per pack).

He said he let Collins get away with $600 the last time

    This time -
. "He ran out of the store and dropped the money bag in the parking lot.”

    You don't read too good.

He gained not being ROBBED a THIRD time by this same violent felon. He also SAVED untold number of FUTURE ROBBERY VICTIMS from being robbed by this guy. Unless, of course, the criminal justice system turns him out onto society yet AGAIN.

    Statistically speaking:
    Shootings count: +1
Violent crime: -x (x=the number of future crimes this guy would have committed, now thwarted)

Interesting how that is EXACTLY the trend we see in the FBI data.

They know. They just hate seeing their talking points shredded by these kind of stories. Now they have to go back to TALKINGPOINTS.COM and get new ones.

If I was a business owner in that neighborhood, I'd send this store owner a "Thank You" card. Our society is just a little safer now that this guy is off the street, if even temporarily.

Of course it is. You don't think he will get it back though, after the trial? Whereas, if this P.O.S. walks out with it, it is gone for ever, regardless if they arrest him.

As word of this shooting propagates through the neighborhood, the G&J Market is not going to be high on the list of robbery targets. Gun free zones will be much more attractive.

I hope the sympathy goes to the man who was simply at work and not to the criminal that chose to steal from a store.

Who's this "we" you speak of? Are you an LEO or EMT? The store owner would not have proper protective eqpmt. as many of these robbers are drug addicts with HIV, hepatitis, etc. Call 911 after the situation has been stabilized.

Is anyone coming out to defend this ass hat robbing the store? All minimum wage earners / store clerks have a 100% right to blow away anyone who waves a gun in their face. I don't really care if the store owner gets sued, or not.

Yeah. I'd say he is in big trouble.

    - - - Updated - - -

The police can shoot a fleeing felon, civilians cannot, is my understanding.

And why would he be charged with a hate crime? What in the facts here indicates he shot the man out of racial animus?

    - - - Updated - - -

You can in Texas so long as they are continuing a felony (such as absconding with your vehicle)

Looks like in Ohio he's pretty much (*)(*)(*)(*)ed though. http://www.columbuscriminaldefensea...-to-self-defense-in-ohio-part-i-deadly-force/ Running away isn't imminent bodily harm.

Thank you but I read fine but I'm a little worried about your comprehension. The question I was asking was did the guy get arrested? Did anything happen to him? The fact that he got away with $600 the first time and dropped the bag (after being shot) doesn't matter to the point of if he should have been shot in the first place.
