    We had this happen many years ago at a KFC. Strange thing was they HAD chicken, but because it was 8:30 and they closed at nine, they didn't want to cook it. They were only out of the cooked chicken and were closing up for the night.

    On a brighter note, young woman at a Papa John's made a pizza for me at 2 a.m. I was the only customer and she was the only one left in the place. After she started the pizza, I noticed the sign, closed at 1:30 a.m. I was only sorry I didn't have more than two bucks to tip her for her service.

    Tasteless humor: I should have become a priest. At least I'd be getting laid.

    This is one of those virtue-signaling things that makes less and less sense the more I think about it. Like, the ones who lost their lives weren't going to the concert... And being Muslim, they probably weren't going to the concert anyway... The only people who were going to the concert were old white people and not this white supremacist... Sooo, Bryan Adams is punishing old white people for the white supremacist who shot up two mosques? And won't he have to have the concert later or give people their money back? So isn't he punishing himself? Wouldn't it make more sense to have the concert and invite the victims' families or something? Even if they didn't come, they might appreciate the gesture. Then at least he'd be doing something more than just virtue signaling.

    St Patricks day, 17 years to the day I (Me and friends) burnt a house down!

    We almost killed a family of 5 and the next day it snowed in the lounge (No roof). Ammo lost his job, his wife and then everything he owned that week. As he jumped out the upstairs window to escape the fire he caught his boxer shorts on the window ledge and fell naked. Everything he owned went up with the rest of the flat.

    Happier times :)
