I disagree. AB Inbev was doing this to chase ESG scores which is a left wing invention to try to force companies to support left wing political goals with the threat of limiting their access to capital if they didn't do what leftists told them to do politically. So, yes, this is very much something Congress needs to highlight, investigate, and pass legislation to end ESG nonsense. A law legally requiring companies to maximize shareholder returns would end this political nonsense over night.

I am at this point neither pro ESG nor anti ESG. In fact I do not accept that something is left wing or right wing just because someone decides to label something that they do not like as left or right wing. You say that ESG is a liberal tool but I have not seen much to support that accusation.
As regarding Congress investigating ESG per Rafael’s desires that needs more than just a cursory check out considering Rafael’s Knick name of Lying Ted.
