I don’t fight fair. If they come at me with a knife, baseball bat, whatever, they also get shot.

Where does it say ever Tom Dick or Harry that wants a gun is part of a “well regulated militia”?

Glad it is not me forking out $229 Billion per year on firearm injury

So how often do you expect to have to defend yourself?

    The 2A, of course...

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Hope for the best, expect the worst. Hopefully never, and I expect daily.

Wrong! They know that he ordered a glock off the internet = a sentence of 10 years’ imprisonment

The current maximum penalty for illegally importing firearms or ammunition under Section 170 of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979, where the weapons are subject to general prohibition under Section 5 of the Firearms Act 1968, is a sentence of 10 years’ imprisonment, an unlimited fine or both

    NO evidence you said, LOL

That's probably right, though it's the judge's comment which lead me to believe the sentence is probably far more harsh than it could be.

Then to top it off, the gun never made it to his house.

I suggest you go back and read what I typed in ALL of my posts. If you can't see/read it, that isn't my problem

but that is not what happens, many ex-felons that are now free Americans are not allowed to own guns, can you imagine if we did the same with speech or religion

it's either a right of all free Americans or it's a privilege, can't be both

I agree. If you served your time and do not pose a eminent threat to society, then I think your 2A rights should be restored.

Perhaps you could point out which one of your following posts listed in the order you posted contains that insightful information?

    1. So he is guilty with no evidence then??
    2. Where does it say that? Because I didn't read that
    3. Under UK laws not US. He wasn't sentenced for killing anyone
    4. If you read the article, they don't know what his target was, if there even was a target.
    5. Did you see point number 1?
    6. That is nice. They still can't say what he was going to do, if anything.
    7. He wouldn't be.
    8. You clearly didn't understand my whole point. Which isn't my problem or concern
    9. Yea I know. I really don't understand how that could be mis read but hey whatever
    10. DId see/read my other post, Because I responded to that.
    11. Then the answer is there

Why don't you show which post, you've got 14 to choose out of, has got a point or was misread or addressed something?

Sure the sentence was probably on the heavier side because of what he apparently intended.

Yeah but he thought it did and made a controlled buy from a cop. Same thing happens when the FBI finds some guy who is looking for fellow terrorists and sells him a fake bomb.

This is beginning to sound like the script from "Minority Reports." The mass shooting you offer is hypothetical, speculative.

yep, agreed, if we want to punish people longer, we increase the sentence, that is the way the system is supposed to work

once one has done their time (sentence) the punishment should end - all rights should be restored, gun rights, voting rights, freedom of speech rights, religious rights... ect...

We could always do a similar demographic comparison, instead of the tainted nonsense, like per capita. The US has towns, suburbs, cities, and villages of comparable size to just about any country. Its not the foreigners that are the problem here, its the urban dwellers that commit more than 50% of all murders in 2% of all counties.

There really aren't that many mass shootings to make it into a significant agenda issue. There are nearly 20,000 homicides a year, and these 'mass shooting' comprise a fraction of that total. Odd how liberals don't care about 99% of the murders, just those few they think they can gain some political points. Folks like you disgust me, you climb on the corpses of these victims to make a political point, but utterly ignore all the other victims. Pathetic..
