I got to this late so if others already cleared this up, I apologize.

The vehicle is stuck. It is mounted on the fence. While the Mexicans can go over the wall, we also have high tech to catch them.

It would be great for Americans to wish our country had security.

This is always said by a person not acquainted with the existing Federal law.

We have two operations at stake here.
    1. Feds. Can they intercept a firm and check out all of the workers? Democrats refuse to accept ID for voting, so how can they accept ID for employment?
    2. Federal law covers companies already. Companies suffer huge fines when illegals are located at companies.
    3. Do you scatter flyers at the border? How do the illegals learn companies by the millions are prosecuted?
    4. What about small firms?
    5. What about the couple hiring an illegal to babysit?

Operation 2 is state law. CA has cities where they refuse to work with the Feds. And CA threatens to make the entire state essentially fed free.

We have record job openings right now. That's a good thing for American workers, bad for corporations. Think about it, liberals.

That's like posting a picture of some guy zip lining over the Berlin Wall, and using that as proof that the Berlin Wall was completely ineffective.

    Liberals have been completely co-opted.

They have abandoned the working class in favor of identity politics and big corporate donations.

The people who argue against a border wall have no interest in stemming the tide of illegal aliens - they believe these people are useful for their political purposes and ill do whatever they can to make it easier for them to get here and stay here.

It's crazy to think just a few short years ago they were the antiwar, anti-corporate party. Talk about your 180.

The liberals discovered that the working class was not interested in the liberal's utopia and they voted for Nixon while the liberals supported McGovern.

They needed money, so they sold out to Wall St. and gathered together all the disgruntled minorities for votes. Thus was born neo-liberalism.

Of course, they will probably not use this as their argument will they. "They're useful for our political purposes."

    Of course not.
But then, it's obvious, so they don't need to.

The wall will allow for Border Patrol to focus on the tunnels. Plus look at Israel's wall.

I swear I responded to this already, but checking my list of posts in this thread, it doesn't look like I have. When I say "liberal/left" I mean the same person, just providing two different descriptions for them. Even though I hate using "liberal" to describe them, as they're not truly liberal at all. You cannot be a liberal if you think that hate speech should be illegal. That's NOT freedom of speech.

I would certainly appreciate if you might use a different term. Using the term "liberal" legitimizes them with an entire history of great and brave people who have fought to bring about the freedoms and rights which these clowns don't appreciate.

Progressives seems to be a term that differentiates them (without insulting).

    Mandela was a liberal
    Mugabe is a progressive

Has this been an effective deterrant to large Companies?
Two potential routes: word of mouth and featuring the issue in popular local television programs.
I would guess that you might be able to use the Federal taxation powers. Paying an illegal immigrant anything increases your personal rate of Federal income tax to 100%.
True. But the Fed can investigate and enforce where it has the right to do so.

But you don't need a wall, and that is the bottom line here. The other means of stopping are already working and and is only in it's
    infancy.

Does Australia have an immigration problem? Doesn't strike me as a destination.

It is a waste of resources when the ultimate solution will have to be an immigration system that reflects market needs.

Which cost... that of building the wall, that of having hundreds of border patrols on duty as a human wall, or the cost of having drugs come across the river and get distributed all over America?

The wall is a new option to deal with a problem we already have that is costing money, drugging the country, threatening security and much more.

It's not a cosmetic choice, it is a purpose-built concept as an alternative to other methods serving the same purpose.

Often not discussed is the fact it would be impossible to build a wall. There are areas where the difficulty of the terrain would prevent any work being done.

Yeah, so? So the illegals are forced towards certain areas where they think they'll be able to pass through. But in reality they will be met by the strong arm of the law!
