    Who CARES if women can't find adequate medical care? The MEN of Texas say they know what's best for their wimmins!

    And if some women have to suffer for these legislators' "principles", well, the men are willing to step up to the plate and FORCE the women to do it for the good of the men's principles!

    What does Planned Parenthood have to do with women's health? They do referrals for everything with the exception of abortions. They do almost no women's health care except for the minimum token amount they can get away with. As a matter of fact, if Planned Parenthood refrained from shaking down legitimate women's health research organizations and women's health care providers, I could guarantee better women's health outcomes. Why should the Susan B. Komen Foundation have to fund Planned Parenthood when Planned Parenthood's only breast cancer service is referring women to the Susan B. Komen Foundation for mammograms?

    Planned Parenthood is nothing more than an abortion provider. What person of any moral standing would ask the government to fund the killing of babies?

    then, can I choose where my tax dollars goes also?

    I don't want to spend a penny on killing others, not our own soldiers, not foreign civilians, and not death row criminals.

    That would be Karen Handel's book "Planned Bullyhood".

    Karen was a vice president of the Susan B. Komen foundation. I am thinking she probably knows what she is talking about.

    I remain shocked that women have CONTINUED to keep themselves down. FOR AT LEAST 35 YEARS, THE DOORS HAVE BEEN OPEN FOR WOMEN TO WALK THROUGH. But, most still CHOOSE to have dependent attitudes. Jebus --- in 1975, at 17, I went to a private doctor and got birth control pills because I knew I wanted, and needed, higher education to be an independent woman --- and having a baby was not conducive to such plans.. I didn't go to Planned Parenthood --- I had money from a summer job and paid the office visit and $3.00 prescription myself. And, even at that, at that time, I doubt the doctor was supposed to even do that, as I was under 18. But, he knew it was the smart thing for me to do. No man has ever told me what to do with my body, I do my own thinking. And many girls are STILL not being raised to do their own thinking.

    The moment of decision is before the clothes come off, NOT afterwards. I am embarrassed that women can have "surprise" pregnancies.

    I don't recall ever saying I had an absolutist mentality on abortion. If you have a post where I have said that, please provide it. Otherwise you either have reading comprehension problems or you tend to jump to silly conclusions. Either way, it sounds like a 'you' problem, not a 'me' problem.

    I'll just wait here while you look for one of my posts which has some absolutist statement on abortion.

    Early term abortions do not kill babies. It terminates the development of embryos that have. . .maybe. . .the POTENTIAL of becoming babies.

    Breaking an egg is not baking a chicken!

    Nice. At least you are honest enough to admit it. Then why not use those same semantics and classify enemies as sub-human or convicted murderers as inhuman? Problem solved. Kill who you want, just attach a nice label first.

    " Abortion" is not womens' health, in fact it is one of the UNHEALTHIEST THINGS a WOMAN CAN HAVE DONE.

    Meanwhile, PP doesn't EVEN DO MAMMAGRAMS anymore...try the ACTUAL FACTS, PLEASE.
