The left will eventually take over America

(A) Where is the enthusiasm for Joe Biden and Kamalalalala Harris? He showed up at one place and didn't speak of local issues, then blew town before anyone had a chance to ask questions. The press of course said flattering things and didn't mention he couldn't finish any sentence.

(B) Because Harris. Biden's a placeholder until the real swindle begins.

 

$356 million worth of enthusiasm.

 

Good luck telling farmers what to do. Food supply cannot be browbeaten without massive repercussions.

 

And where is the enthusiasm on the ground and not the big bucks pouring in from sources we'll probably never fully know? Where is the adulatory campus chatter which accompanied Empty Suit With a TelePrompter?

Face it. Even that vile hag Clinton had more visible support than doddering hapless Joe.

 

I think the goal of the left is to make each individual totally reliant and subservient to government. And yes, that will eventually happen. The more an individual is reliant on government, the more obedient to government they become.

 

One of the leading commies once said if we gave him two generations he would control the minds of America. First infiltrate the teaching colleges. They will turn out the other disciplines who in turn teach others who are the actual classroom crusaders. We're about twenty years past that part. God save America.

That is exactly the goal. Keep removing 'obligations', and eventually they'll forget they have the power to keep themselves alive. It'll reach a point where every person needs a private residence (one per residence, because living with others is too much work), and all needs delivered to the door. All communications/entertainment will be edited for the remotest possible whiff of racist/transphobic/bigoted content, meaning nothing will get to them but cartoons about kittens. And since they don't remember how to keep themselves alive, they'll live in mortal dread of the Other Party gaining power.

 

The thing about the Chinese is, they never grew lazy and helpless under Communism. That's because they did ACTUAL communism ... which means if you don't work (your behind off), you don't eat.

What we're seeing in the West is deliberate 'making lazy and helpless', which is basically the opposite.

 

That's the very same enthusiasm which Hiden Biden lacks. Not that this photo is in ANY way different than the look on the media's face, around Barack Obama.

 

I'm not talking about the food supply. I'm talking about American culture and government. I live among farmers and even live on a farm. They are Americans like everyone else. They are independent businessmen and freedom loving people. They are not like people in the cities. But there aren't that many of them compared to city dwellers.

 

I think that is true as well. But the left in general is using the radical agenda to sell itself to the public and a majority of the public is buying it. It seems like we have to fall into the hole in order to learn the lesson that the American way, while imperfect, is a very good way. We need to work on the imperfections rather than the replacement.

 

~ You could be right. Perhaps I am more hopeful than that. I believe many "liberal" democrats do not approve of the "progressive" radical Democrat Party of today. At this point we may actually be seeing the movement falling apart instead of growing.
Sadly I agree that the west does indeed seem to be dumbing down to the complacency of Marxist style big government.

 

Marxism is theoretically appealing. The problem is that it doesn't work because it goes against human nature. Humans aren't interested in the common good. They are interested in their own good. That is why government is so fraught with corruption. No government to my knowledge really has the common good in its sights. Those in government are looking after themselves just like the people they govern. It is human nature.

What I like about the American system is that it leaves room for personal freedom while maintaining enough strength to keep the peace. The problems we face all reflect back to people, not to our system. My mother used to remind me often to count my blessings. We Americans should do that often. The alternative is to live like Nicaraguans or Cubans.

 

China has morphed into a combination Marxist-capita!ist economy as pure Marxism failed. They retained the totalitarianism of the Marxist philosophy and kept control of key industries so the profits could be funneled to the military but at the same time let private business flourish with no health, environmental or safety standards. This has bern extremely effective but not the kind of country I want to live in.

 

Guess we will find out in a couple of months.
