The enthusiasm level for Biden is down for several clear reasons. His age is #1. The Dems have spent the last four years trying to put down white males to get at Trump but now propose an even OLDER honky mofo to helm our course. Biden refuses to campaign with AOC or other Squad members and therefore has zero appeal to the Bernie Bros --- and even Bernie himself says Joe needs to get out among the kids more.

Younger Dems should note that they swindled you by not including in their 2020 platform the two things they've ALSO spent years promoting --- forgiving student loans, reparations, and medicare for everybody. They were the party of empty promises, mouthing mideast peace while Trump pulled off TWO feats of peace totally unforseen by our naysaying left. Facts on the ground: Biden would not have bothered. There is nothing in his record to support his desire for what Trump got done in a relative flash.

Meantime, while it may not be the kind of country you and I would want to live in, its very effectiveness means it probably will be 'the country we live in'. At least, if we're still around in another generation or two.

 

Unlikely. They're so many steps ahead of the West that we're as dumb as amoeba in comparison. They're not hampered by endless moral limitations and 'humanities' laws. They're not shackled by the giant chains of a society hell bent on protecting every last emotional perfection of every last individual.

 

I'm acutely aware of Trump hatred here in the general Ann Arbor area. It's San Francisco with clean streets. Berserkley gentrified. It's the lunatic fringe with advanced degrees. I worked there many years and feel I know it well. So for these purposes let's call that the educated young set, say freshmen at 18 and postgrads up into their early 30s or so. I stipulate these will likely vote Biden. If they vote.

Now please consider Biden can't draw younger voters, being even older than Trump was when Trump entered office. The Dems promised the younger people that student loans would be forgiven, but it's not on their 2020 party platform. So what are Dems offering younger voters but more of the same?

Then don't vote for a party that shrugs at killing 55 million innocent helpless babies.
