Glad you raised the UBI spending point. Welfare, in the form of tax cuts, for the WEALTHY means massive amounts of money is taken OUT OF CIRCULATION from the economy. It ends up in off shore bank accounts and has zero net benefit to anyone but the wealthy. The majority of the people who will benefit from UBI will spend that money on things that they need to survive which means that UBI funds will be circulating in the economy and boosting demand for products and services. The economy will do well with that stimulus funding in the hands of We the People.

Robots can build themselves! AI can write it's own programs and instruct robots to maintain themselves. AI and even transport robots to where they are needed and instruct other robots to install them. AI will eventually be doing all of the designs for robots too. So none of those "jobs" are going to have any meaningful longevity.
