The death count is doubling every 2 to 3 days, just like the detection count. And we don't know the death rate yet. In Italy it appears to be holding at over 10%. In China, over 5%. In Spain, 8%. And they are significantly farther along in testing than we are per capita.

Infected Cases did not triple overnight, detected cases did. The number of infected people did not triple over night, the known number of infected people did. Huge difference. If there were not a huge difference then as long as you were never tested the virus would be harmless to you!

What can you tell by counting the dead? What does that have to do with the number of infected? Nothing at all...no ideal what you are trying to get at now. The only impact the number of dead has on numbers is on the death rate, which will drop as more test confirm more infections.

But I get it, you predicting 450,0000 dead in the US so you have to find new ways to make the math work for you.

 

Gun confiscation is a myth. It's simply undoable in America.

It identifies places where more movement restrictions may be required to prevent further growth.

These are cases that were unknown.

 

The world knew, a month before Trump, that the coronavirus was going to be a major pandemic and that extreme measures had to be put in place as soon as the first cases appeared.

In addition, just before the US was hit, we could measure the extent of the disaster in Europe and prepare for it accordingly.

Nothing useful has been done and tens of millions of American will be infected.
