If you REALLY want to crash the economy, perhaps you can tie it together with a program you might call 'Affordable Housing' like then HUD Secretary Andrew Cuomo spiked in 1999. If you have Fannie & Freddie commit to buy loans extended to people who will never be able to afford the 5 Year ARMs after they reset, you will have accomplished a couple of things.

First, the banks who would otherwise never loan money to the people you want back in your ghetto will have them pre-sold. A beautiful thing.

Second, securities that contain those doomed loans are naturally A-rated since they are backed by the good faith and credit of Uncle Sam. You can sell those puppies around the world and create more poverty, envy and polarization that even Democrats ever thought was possible.

Yes, we are on the same page here and I do understand your concern.

Employers are the ones providing the paychecks and to be brutally frank they are stuck between a rock and a hard place.

What it boils down to is that publicly traded corporations do have an obligation when it comes to providing profits to shareholders. However what has CHANGED is that the EXPECTATIONS of profits by the greed driven Wall Street Casino Bosses has taken over what used to be sound and prudent corporate management practices. Once upon a time only workers who were not producing could expect to be laid off while those who worked hard were REWARDED with pay raises and bonuses. The Wall Street Casino Bosses trashed that by setting up a system whereby they FORCED corporations to CONSTANTLY demonstrate ever improving earnings otherwise they would PUNISH the stock price by DOWNGRADING it. That meant that if there was any possibility of not meeting these insane extortionary DEMANDS for ever higher profits there was no other option than to conduct wholesale layoffs across the entire spectrum of the workforce for no better reason than to satisfy the greed and avarice of the Wall Street Casino Bosses.

Hardworking Americans found themselves with mortgages, car loans, college loans and medical bills were FORCED to find another job and so they took whatever they could get even if it was for less than they were earning before being laid off.

The transfer of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy 1% elite has even stripmined the integrity of corporate management.

 

Not surprised you would invoke a radical left wing rag, but even they admit Obama did nothing for the downtrodden. That companies have invested in more capital than American workers says more about Al Gore's invention, the globalization it enabled, the illegal invasion Democrats support, our corporate tax structure, and WTO rules that disadvantage us.

So what is going on here is inflation which is the sign of a strong economy is over taking wage growth. Do you not feel longer term that increased production in the manufacturing segment will cause business to hire more workers and those workers will have to be recruited from some lower paying job?
Your colorful bold type is a contradiction in terms. President Trump has reduced the unemployment rate to historic lows. This means more jobs. As those jobs fill the employer will have to pay more to attract new workers. The catch is, inflation that comes with a strong economy. Democrats want everybody to have a Union job with all it's associated benefits, then they complain that a tee shirt made in the USA costs $35. You can't have it both ways.

Inflation is happening because your BLOTUS has ruined the USA's credit rating and trustworthiness so no foreign nations are willing to lend us any more money. That means that the Federal Reserve is PRINTING the money that it is lending your BLOTUS and that is driving up inflation.
