And the reason the hard right refuses to support even the most common sense gun regulations, and equates all gun control with "taking their guns away" is because their God-Kings, the NRA are owned by the gun manufacturers. The leaders of the NRA, all own major stock in various gun companies such as Colt, Smith & Wessen, Berretta, etc.....

This is why the NRA has gone from an organization which supported common sense regulations, such as criminal and mental health background checks, to an organization which opposes all gun laws and denounces any bill which would have any effects on gun sales as tyranny.

Those countries still have enough guns that if they were so disposed, they could have mass killings too. I once read a post from someone in Iceland who said most every house had at least a shotgun, but they had no thought to use a gun for self defense. The gun isn't the problem, it's the culture and as the Left tries to destroy our family structure and western culture you are going to have these murderous outbursts. The Left created these monsters and now deflect blame to the tools they use.

We have high rates of gun deaths due to the Democrats managing the laws of this country. And since 1933 their lousy laws keep getting called good laws.

Where you have republican leadership, you find citizens have rights restored.

 

Provided they have the money it is easier for criminal minded teens to buy a gun in most American cities than it is to buy a pack of cigarettes.

 

The left doesn't generally support gun control; liberals do.

Why do firearm-related restrictions not work in all countries? Why are there exceptions where firearm-related restrictions have done nothing to make anyone safer?

 

The obvious question of "so what?" must be asked with regard to the above. What ultimate, meaningful difference does such make?

There is no evidence that gun control has made any country notably safer. The proper comparison is before and after the requisite law in that country was passed. In almost all cases you get a decrease in gun deaths but an uptick in almst all other crimes.
