Plenty of people were traveling... including me. Oh... wait... all the people in blue states were huddled under their beds shivering in fear. I tend to forget how blue staters got all skeert, closed schools, closed businesses and trembled in abject fear.

The Trump Republicans need to get through their heads that Trump is unelectable. Yes, the establishment is against him, but his political problems go deeper than that. He never knows when to shut up. His ego is too big to listen to anyone. His two year long harping about the 2020 election has killed his image with many one time supporters. It has also solidified the “anyone but Trump” voting block. It could be over 50% of the voters before the campaign begins.

If Trump really cared about the country, he would stay out of the race and let the next generation Republicans take charge. The real kick in the pants will be if he does not get the Republican nomination and runs as a third party candidate. That will insure the establishment of socialism in the United States and end the American dream. It will also be the end of Trump’s political career, not that age would doing that anyway.

Not to worry. Biden is leading us into a ve
It will be interesting to watch what develops. Yes, Trump has a big mouth. Yes, Trump has other personal baggage. But none of that effects the safety or prosperity of my family. I'm not sure I'd ever invite him over for dinner, but I sure liked his 1.6% inflation, $2 gas, law and order, no new wars, tax break, and a lot more. He's my President and his "baggage" doesn't effect my family. If I want moral guidance I'll ssee my priest. If I want safety and security I'll turn to my President... and Trump delivered.

But we'll see. I would like to see a younger guy like DeSantis as POTUS.

Yes, @AARguy, think “DeSantis for President.” He will bring back the good things you mentioned, and he is electable.

If Schumer, Pelosi and the Squad could get statehood for Puerto Rico, they'd present it as a gift without any need for a request.

Trump's motivation is to put Garland in the hot seat. Claiming Merrick is investigating Trump's crimes for political reasons. Don made a reference to supposed corruption at the DoJ during his announcement. Will The Following really fall for the con again?

Did you also like him hiking debt by $8 trillion in 4 years triggering high inflation?

Yea, 2020 was a year of "law and order". LOL There was law and order when he took office and total chaos when he left.

Your personal experience doesn't relate to the country as a whole.
You are unaware that gas prices dropped in 2020 because demand dropped? To the lowest level in 12 yrs.

So you do want a pandemic to return so you can have cheap gas.

All I did was prove your point. There's no pandemic nor endemic as a result of abortions.
In fact, abortions don't affect the growth of the human population at all.

Actually without abortions, there's 63.6 more million people. I guess that would be considered a holocaust.
BTW, the 63.6 M figure doesn't include live birth abortions.

    Demand outstripped supply.
But you are claiming it's better for a recession and pandemic. Because you get cheaper gas.

Drilling hasn't stopped. Licenses haven't been halted.
    Pipelines haven't closed.

Cost outstripped wallets due to Biden's ending pipelines, raising taxes on oil from public lands, discouraging fracking, and stopping isuance of "drilling licenses".

That's correct. Drilling is a fraction of what it was... but it hasn't stopped. Just like licenses. Pipelines weren't stopped? LOLOL. that's funny. Ever heard of the "XL".

Why do you think the Puerto Ricans would welcome such a gift? It has been a while since I have been there but, when I was, they wanted the status quo.

I was only there once. I stayed on the beach at the Hilton and ate at Ruth's Chris... so I defer to your experience.

That didn't get you very far into the feelings of Puerto Ricans. I was raised in Cuba so the island reminds me of my old home in many ways. At least you had a great steak. Hope you had fried plantains and saffron rice to go with it.

Ask them whether they prefer statehood, independence or the status quo. I'll bet the ones living in the continental U.S. will still prefer the status quo.
