I don't see modern day conservatives as folks who would have supported the tories. If you look at conservatives today, they generally embody the very radical notions of those who initiated the war in the first place. Those radical for those times notions are what conservative folk today are making the effort to protect. I know, most liberals don't understand how closely they now resemble the traditional autocracies of history, but there you have it.

You realize this is not a new strategy and it has been used by conservative groups in the past? More importantly, why is this a problem? This is called free speech in action. Tucker has every right to say what he wants, and these people have every right to say what they want to his advertising sponsors, and those sponsors have every right to decide if it's worth it to keep funding Tucker or not. That's how free speech works. Funny how we all love it until it's used against us, eh?

 

This isn't a problem. Again, this is America. If you sponsor something you can be called out for it. Why would we not allow that?
