Actually, government has grown, and dramatically- debt, regulations and so on. I fully felt that Clinton would have boosted teh expansion, and made matters worse at the same time, including corruption. And I'm an independent, probably closer to libertarian than either main party. I'm not pro-government at all- I'm pro good government, and as little of it as necessary. We are never going to get rid of it, and shouldn't- but we should expect it to do the real job that the constitution spelled our for it to do, and do it in honest service to the people and the nation.

Nonsense! But while you focused on this, 2018 is coming right down the pike!

Big Deal, you can turn out big crowds in fuzzy vagina hats. Democrats live in large population centers where such demonstrations are generally held. People can join a protest simply by getting on the subway; it’s an easy show of force.

But the small towns in America are redder than ever. Democrats have self-gerrymandered into a small number of places where they can turn out an impressive number of feet on the ground, but not enough votes to win the House. Certainly not enough to win the Senate or the Electoral College, which both favor sparsely populated states and discount the increasingly dense parts of the nation.

The Senate map in 2018 is brutal for Democrats. If Democrats want to do well they’re going to need to do more than get a small minority of city folks to turn out for a march. They’re going to need to get back some of those rural votes.

To do that, they’re probably going to have to let go of the most soul-satisfying, brain-melting political theory of the last two decades: that Democrats are inevitably the Party of the Future, guaranteed ownership of the future by an emerging Democratic majority in minority-white America. This theory underlay a lot of Obama’s presidency, and Clinton’s campaign. With President Trump’s inauguration on Friday, we saw the results.

    Bad theory!

We were promised reasoned opposition, instead, we got fuzzy Vagina hats. So it's not looking like a 2018 Dem sweep is in the making.

Trump Foes Egged Me On to Support Him.. “While walking to an inaugural ball, I heard shouts — and felt yolk run down my hair.”

    Then:

I froze. Emily Post is silent on the proper way for a lady in a ball gown to respond to an aerial assault. I had to wing it. First, I yelled back. I had spent six years living here, I shouted, and Washington was as much my city as the place I now call home. But then I, too, began to crack, and the egg yolk on my face mixed with tears.

Somehow—it might have been the crying and hollering—my predicament captured the attention of a more-casually attired fairy-god-couple. These kind people must have been liberal Democrats (not that it matters), given where they confessed to working as they helped me. Nonetheless, they asked if I was all right, gently took my arm, and led me to their nearby apartment to clean off. Then they let me out the back door.

At best, I had been a lukewarm and silent Trump supporter, a Goldwater-Reagan-George W. Bush girl who had decided to attend the ball mostly for the opportunity to wear a fancy dress. But when my heels hit the sidewalk that second time, I committed: I would now back President Trump.

There’s been a lot of that kind of decision-making lately, and the Progressive Left has no one to blame but themselves.

I dare say the slippery slope as you have framed it is far more attached to the "witch hunt mentality" than the actual facts or REALITY. Do you want thousands of people dying in Chicago, which is what will continue to happen if we follow the status quo? Or, do want a country without borders & criminal illegals getting a free pass? Come on, where do the draw the line on law & order?

That's what you get for being a citizen.
A shame, isn't it? You pay a fine for speeding when terrorists in GITMO never face charges & get a free ticket home on YOUR dime. :wall: What's wrong with that picture!?

He's is proving to be one of the most truthful Presidents in history.

Try telling me the date of Obama closing Gitmo, which he promised dozens of times in both campaigns.

This dude did something illegal also. ^^^^^^^
So make those here working jobs, going to school, legal. Not a difficult concept.
Or find those companies, like Trump, that hired illegals and fine the hell out of them. You want to punish a person for trying to feed their family. I call that criminal also.

What do you want to do with those in grade, jr high, high school, college who have been here their entire lives. Those who have graduated school and are now working but have lived here their entire lives?
Send them where? They have no other country.

That is really not the point. A law was broken and I had to pay. No one gave me a free pass to continue to break the law.

For traffic yes and no. Long ago the Supreme Court ruled that traffic laws are essentially taxation. When it can become criminal is if you do not honor signing the ticket and taking care of it, ie a promise to appear for the ticket or pay it.

Notably, in criminal cases a person's record can be brought up if the person testified for him/herself, EXCEPT traffic tickets. Traffic tickets can not even be brought up in civil court. Someone could have paid 10 running stop sign tickets, but you could not even mention this if you were suing the person for running a stop sign hitting you.

The law is broken regarding immigration. People born here and lived here all their lives, have no country to be sent to.

I did not read that section of the document. Where does it tell us what we must or must not do with illegal immigrants or cities that provide them sanctuary?

They're dumb. It's amazing to me that the Left thinks women are Vaginas, and the Leftwing women are dumb enough to go along with this degradation.
