My prognosis is based on what will happen to the American neocon and neoliberal elite in a crashed dollar situation. Their day in the Sun will be over (and good bloody riddance too), as they have no interest in rebuilding America - they were only interested is hijacking America and using it for their own ends/wealth.

Without reserve currency status and thus with inward dollar investment diminishing - probably extremely so (wealth always flees at the first sign of real danger) - then the spinning plates in the air trick will beginning crashing to Earth one after the other. The budget for the Pentagon will then follow that earth hugging reality and defence will become just that: defence. Not engaging in overseas wars.

 

Never have so many gotten so much wrong with their gluttony of information.

As for Afghanistan and other Central Asian nations, they were sent from Turkey, and the KSA was aligned with it at the time. They were also involved in the first false flag chemical attack with Turkey.

There’s the pity of it. The loud-mouth, “I’m alright, Jack” population (that accounts for an awfully large percentage the other side of the pond) will be begging us for guidance & hand-outs and we won’t be able to distinguish the good guys from the bad guys. Ironically Venezuela will play an important role in America's decline...probably why they are so desperate for regime change. Once there's instability outside and within the US, dropping the US$ will be openly and more widely discussed.

Honestly I can't tell you how I feel about that... they certainly deserve it, after the way the stole from South America to enrich themselves....but the toll...it's going to get ugly...

 

Russia has a GDP that is roughly half the size of California. It is isn't even a tiger on paper. My perspective is that Saudi Arabia exerts far more influence on American politicians than Russia, and much more brazenly.

I believe that elites have us where they want us, attacking each other and ignoring them. When I look at the legislation passed in my lifetime, it seems to invariably favor a tiny fraction of people on the very tippy top of American society. I see this trend from Nixon to Trump. There was a time in America when labor was a threat to capital and had a seat at the table. That time has passed. The middle class became a minority for the first time in my lifetime in 2014. Look for that trend to accelerate.

 

I think that Russia and China will have to take a more assertive stance in the matter, though. Things are not looking very good for Venezuela at the moment.

That has to be an understatement. Venezuela is definitely a thorn under America's foot. Let's hope the skin is punctured and the sore festers.

Either take the step or remain to see more of the same U.S. treachery. The lie of WMD's, the false "proof" of them, the illegal invasion, the rape, torture, and murder of a million innocent men, women and children, the death squads, the execution of Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden .... with neither an apology nor prison sentences for Bush Baby, Cheney, Rumsfeld, & co. proves without any doubt that the more they get away with the more they will take. But then we have Syria and Assad. Russia and Iran stepped in and put a stop to it! Venezuela needs that sort of assistance. Without it, Maduro will probably get the chop.
