    Right wing propaganda and revisionist history. Not one Democrat voted for war. It was all the Bush administration's decision to invade Iraq.

    About half the Dems, along with all the Republicans, voted in Oct 2002, five months before the Bush started the war and before the UN inspectors went in country on hundreds of spot inspections and found no WMD, to give the Bush administration authority to use military force against Iraq, if diplomatic measures were unsuccessful.

    The decision to invade and occupy for fabricated and "mistaken" reasons, and the terrible consequences and costs, were all on the Bush administration and its neocon supporters.

    History shows you are wrong. It was Bush's decision to start that disaster. I can see why you try to blame it on the Dems.

    The Dems big mistake was trusting the president, although it wouldn't have mattered because the Republicans could have passed the resolution without them.

    Wrong, and it wasn't about his sex life it was about perjury in a sexual harrassment case, that would have gotten any Republican hounded from office if not tarred and fethered shortly before he was drqwn and quartered. The two embassies got blown before the perjury happened.

    By "Benghazi-type" if you mean the president made an active decision to withdraw support from desperate Americans begging for it, followed by a systematic campaign to cover up the scandal, I'm interested.

    Oh of course these aren't "Benghazi-type" attacks. This is yet another desperate liberal strawman attempt to change the subject to George W. Bush.
