    I disagree.

He has won. He no longer wins.

    http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/tebow-era-york-jets-waive-qb-19064804#.UX63QMoXH5w

The Heisman Trophy winner attempted just eight passes after his ballyhooed arrival in a surprising trade from the Denver Broncos in March 2012. He threw for 39 yards and rushed 32 times for 102 yards — and stunningly had no touchdowns as a member of the Jets.

In my fine and correct opinion, he won some games because he is erratic and out of control, running some sort of spastic wildcat offense, and no one knew what he would do next. He also has a turnover problem and a pass completion problem.

You are going to use his time with the Jets to make a point?
    Yea, OK.

Either some of you do not know the NFL, or you don't care to have an honest discussion.

Let's start from an honest position. The Jet's DID NOT give him any sort of fair shot or consistent play, even with Sanchez being the worst rated QB in the league.

The only place he was offered a chance was in Denver where he went 8-4 and won a playoff game. He did this as a Rookie/Sophomore. That's pretty decent.

The jets would have traded him for a cup of coffee yet 31 other GMs don't seem to think he's an nfl qb

You miss the point, they hate him because of his christian faith and his expressions of it.
You know, exercises his 1st Amendment. Kills those libs.

Starting Sanchez over anyone, shows the coaching staff are a bunch of idiots.

    Cut Tim Tebow

    - - - Updated - - -

Apparently as is the rest of the NFL when it comes to football for letting such a fine quarterback slip away.

I got a 20 that says the Jets will not make the playoffs AGAIN.
But they will probably give Sanchez another extention and bonus.
Lets see how many of his offensive linemen he can run headlong into this year.

No, because just the previous year he was starting QB for John Elways team. Do you people live under a rock? or are you butt hurt because Tebow is a strong devout christian?

Well lets see, oh yea. They said the same about Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Terry Bradshaw and Joe Thiesman.
At one time Billy Kilmer was never supposed to walk again.
Oh, and Doug Flutie could "never" make it in the NFL.
All thrived and had great careers.

I'm with you on this. I have to suspect the motives of people who make a concerted effort to shove their religion in your face, and everyone elses. As if they are better than the others. Kinda takes the humble out of the faith.

Some might call them attention whores.....

    Yes, and he still sucked.

No. I live in a very middle class home in a very middle class subdivision.

No. My ass does not hurt, and I do not care about Tebow's religious beliefs. I simply think it is amusing watching folks defend someone who is so atrociously bad at football.

    - - - Updated - - -

Apparently folks do not care for Tebow's playing ability as much.

Brady and Rodgers never played in the CFL

    - - - Updated - - -

Don't give me that bull(*)(*)(*)(*). his religion is what gets to you. That and the fact that you know he wouldn't give you the time of day, makes you jealous,

Actually he probably would give him the time of day and the shirt off his back.
Too bad he is not a coked out whoremonger.
Then people would think he is a god and demand he play somewhere.

Not really. I think he is a sub par NFL player.

I am not sure what you are talking about.

    I'm a Christian,

but I can't stand Tebow. I'm an FSU fan so that is some of the anomosity towards him.... but that's not even 100% why I don't like him.

The University of Florida had two quarterbacks like this. Tebow is just Danny Wuerfall v 2.0.

both won a heisman and national title for the gaytors, both were good Christian kids, yet the tebow sackriding was absurd whereas Wuerfall was a lot less in your face about it all.

Danny Wuerfall didn't need to wear the eye paint to show how Christian he was, Wuerfall just ran a ministry and volunteered and did his mission work quietly. Tebow was very vocal... almost pious, about it.

So despite being a gaytor, I'm a huge Wuerfall fan.

Yea, Danny "The Glove" proved what NFL QB he was with the Redskins under Steve Superior. Thanks for those 3 years of mediocrity.

What's wrong with an athlete expressing his beliefs?

Danny Awful. There is a name I have not heard in a long time. He joined other NFL quarterbacks whose playing careers did not live up to the hype.

    Ryan Leaf.
    Gino Torretta.
    Todd Marinovich.
    Heath Shuler.
    JaMarcus Russell.

On my list of busts anyway.
