    Oh just knock off the nonsense and the insistance that men belong in women's sports because they don't. If you are a biological male, born as a boy and not a girl, you have no place to compete in female sports.

    It's disturbing that there are people out there that think like you do. It literally destroys sports for women.

    The right just wants to live and let live. The left has gone way to far, and this was predictable when the left ignored science and actually entertained and endulged these peoples mental health issues and claimed that a man who says he is a woman is actually a woman…which is objectively incorrect.

    To not have seen this coming is astounding.

    The way this school district handled this is the right way going forward in my opinion. The fact that this sort of thing is even in the mainstream and up for discussion is a failure of society in itself but yet here we are. So this is the best way forward, certain folks of a particular ideology are never going to stop pushing this sort of thing under the guise of "acceptance" in the modern world. So just cut them off, period. Stand your ground, stop worrying about being called some version of -phobic or -ism and just cut them off. If there is a male on your female sports team then we refuse to engage in sports competition with your school. No discussion, no arguments, no meetings, end it there.

    Eventually they will just run out of schools to play against and this whole thing will become a moot point. And if other members of that particular team disagree and want to show support and solidarity to their male teammate then by all means they can do so by themselves while the rest of the schools play against each other and leave them over there alone playing practice against each other on the court.

    I saw the local news report of this and I laughed out loud as even when making this decision the school board was unwilling to openly say why yet instead chose to beat around the bush. Grow up, speak your mind and stop being scared of this extremely vocal minority subsection of society who's ideology is nowhere near an accurate representation of the real world. "We aren't playing against your school because your team has a dude on it and he just hurt one of our players". Period. Say it out loud don't be scared of these people. Stand up for yourself and have the guts to speak common sense out loud.

    it started with girls playing on the boys football teams, most of us supported that, as no girls teams, but it has gone too far

    that said, a female could injure another female too, that is wrong regardless

    if children are being injured, maybe time to reconsider what sports are allowed, especially football with the brain injuries

    Sure a female could injure another female, it happens all the time. But the likelihood of injuries is compounded when there is an actual male participating in womens sports. Plus there is also the logical argument of fairness for the particular sport. We as a collective society need to cut this out and start speaking rationally out loud. There IS a biological difference between males and females. Males on average are physically stronger and faster than females that is a biological fact. Sure there are outliers and there are plenty of women out there who are stronger and faster than the average man, but they are outliers. Every single world record for anything to do with physical activity is held by a man. Women simply do not have the anatomy to ever train hard enough to be stronger than the strongest men. This is due to pure biology.

    I played sports in school growing up, football. Once I reached high school it quickly became apparent that I lacked the size and mass to be competitive any longer as I'm shorter than the average football player. I was discriminated against and I didn't make even the JV team and for good reason. It's not personal, I was on par with the kids in middle school but once I got to high school the average size of the football players was way bigger than me. I couldn't play anymore because I was just simply too small compared to the other boys. But take 14 year old "smaller than the average teenager male me" and put me on the high school girls flag football team and I'd wipe the floor with all of them.

    I'm sorry but no, I get it trans people exist and while it's unfortunate that they may not be able to live normal lives like everybody else but the solution is not this. We have a tendency to treat the word "discrimination" as a naughty word but it's not a naughty word we do it all the time. We don't let a handicapped person in a wheel chair play on a sports team with able bodied people because they would be detrimental to the team. That is discrimination. Women's and Men's sports are separated for a reason, it's simply unfair for males to compete against females in any physical sporting event because males are physically superior to females. I said "physically" superior. If trans people want to play sports then they need to have their own league the same way we have male and female leagues. There is a reason why we never hear stories about female to male trans folks competing in mens sports but we are always hearing various stories about the problems with trans folks competing in womens sports. It's time we as a society stop being afraid of saying common sense out loud. This has absolutely gone way too far and it's the direct result of people being too afraid to say anything about it out of fear of being labeled something.

    Sports are fine, it’s men on womens teams that’s going to far. Injuries aren’t unheard of but the ease of which a man can hurt a women is the only issue here. One that, to the screeching of the left, is being fixed slowly but surely. The culture is moving rightward, which is good for everyone.

    However your argument seems very common on the left…anything to remove competitiveness and physical activity from society is argued by the left, actively making people softer, less active, less competitive, less masculine is the direction the left wants us to go. It’s quite the wild phenomenon.

    It’s an unavoidable consequence of playing contact sports, and it’s very much a consequence worth it so we can have sports as they are a net positive.

    However the ease of which men can hurt women makes for a very obvious rule to rational people, men dont play in womens sports. Also it ruins the integrity of the game to have such an unfair advantage.

    While there will never be complete and objective fairness in sports, a couple easy paths to take to make it as safe and fair as we can are weight classes and men not partaking in womens sports. It’s common sense.

    The Olympic committee used to use chromosome tests to determine gender because the East Germans seemed to have some pretty large women, then they got woke.

    If the hormonal treatment cancels out why men are stronger than women, the why are the women who think they're men and take the necessary hormonal treatments to make them men not winning medals and taking first place in men's sports? You would think we'd see an equal number of Ts in each sport on the winner's stage, but we don't, we only see the men in women's sports who win events.

    There are risks in any sport. That doesn’t mean we eliminate athletic competition. Of course some people think we should inspire young people to be lazy slugs.

    The difference is made by hormones. And you can take that out of the equation according to the Olympic committee.
