Travel ban is only thing that can make us safer.

First appeal to emotion took 10 minutes in this thread.

I suppose we should tell the dying on the ground not o be so petrified.

I'll break it to you gently - they already are there. But at least a travel ban will prevent any more arriving, thereby enabling the security services a better chance of locating them. In all likelihood a few have arrived since Trump's frustrated executive order; you have your liberal judiciary and embittered Democrats to thank for that. It'd be the irony to top all ironies if one of the new arrivals were to perpetrate the next terrorist outrage on US soil?

99.99% of guns are not used in a crime but the left goes after them anyway. Explain the hypocrisy.

Sorry but a confederate flag has never randomly blown up or ran people over. Sometime you need to actually put on the thinking cap.

Keep in mind, in America at least that's far more likely since whites are the vast majority of the population at 77% of the population so you're likelier to run into a white person than a Muslim, who represent only 0.9% of the population. Or Arabic peoples, who only represent 1% of the population.

No, but something very close to that stabbed 2 people in Portland last week.

And one of them shot up a church full of people in Charleston 2 years ago.

And there's also far more white hate groups in America than any other group.

First off, work on your analogies. That one was absolutely terrible.

Second, here is a post that I made in response to someone who said he couldn't think of a single reason why anyone would oppose the travel ban. I would like to see your response.

Maybe we should ban all the middle east from traveling here. I imagine Trump chose those countries because he thought it would get by the left because Obama singled out those countries as trouble areas. What if he had included all nations around the world in his ban, would you still object on religious reasons?

It is not fear to want to know who is coming into our country. Do you leave your doors unlocked in your house when you leave or do you allow every Tom, Dick and Harry to come in unannounced? Don't say it is not the same thing. America is our home and we should have the right to decide who is allowed to visit our home.

It's not our concern or worry about people wanting to come into our country it's our concern and responsibility for the safety for our kids, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and grandfathers. Ban the Mid Easterners and let them kill each other in their own country while we go about our own business, safely. During WW2 would we have let any Japanese immigrate to the U.S.? Thankfully there was no PC back then.

Strange how Trump fans are avoiding my post like the plague. It puts things in perspective. It is reality. So they avoid it. Here is some more reality.

Yesterday Trump engaged in a Twitter storm on various subjects from picking a fight with the mayor of London to calling his travel ban a travel ban, a term his lawyers don't wish to use while defending him in front of the Supreme court. This prompted the White House to say Trump's tweets do represent official White House policy.

In other words, what the President says has nothing to do with official White House policy. :please: :roflol:

It's been called a travel ban from the beginning because that is what it is. Why is this so shocking for you?

    I thought this wasn't a religious ban?

No, I don't leave my doors unlocked. I never did. What does that have to do with anything?

Do you not consider America your home? Then why would you allow anyone and everyone to just come and go freely?

Yes, America is my home. But I don't own it. Neither do you. My great grandparents immigrated here because it's a great country.

So the problem is people coming and going freely. Hey, maybe that will change and we'll be like the USSR where everyone needs papers to travel between states and towns. That would be swell. Make America great again!

I didn't know that we didn't know who comes here from other countries. I've passed through customs at dozens of airports and border crossing in this country when I've come from other countries. I didn't realize that only we Americans have to check in with them. The foreigners don't have to now? Where are the "Just come in and don't check in with us" lanes?
