I respect your opinion but to me and probably most, the National Anthem has always stood for those who fought and continue to fight, for America's freedoms. You disrespect that and it's a slap in the face of the millions and millions who have fought and died, for you to have the freedom. Here's the thing with this, the one's who are doing this know without a doubt they are disrespecting and defying our countries anthem to make a point about something totally different. If you want to do it fine but you better be prepared for the backlash which, may include you losing your job. If it's easy is it really a protest? The perversion of disrespecting this country's freedom is appalling to those who have served. Go to N korea and come back and tell us what freedom is and isn't.

 

You could hear boo's everywhere. They could stop playing the anthem, that's on them, but the fans are the ones who come to see a traditional game of football, not overpaid and spoiled players making political statements.

It's the National Anthem. It has nothing to do with the treatment of poor blacks in judicial matters. They only use that to get the dummards to fall in line with them. You have to remember that most pro athletes didn't finish college, and were only there because they excelled in a sport. They're not all exactly the smartest.

At my job I was sent into the most hazardous of situations in the worst possible weather with a helicopter hovering feet above my head lifting logs into the sky and I didn't make millions of dollars doing it. I did what I was told to keep my job and so should these football players.
