Democrats offered that as an compromise....A single universal voter ID card issues to all registered voters. The Republican refused, because voter ID laws were never about stopping voter fraud, it was about stopping voters, period, or at least voters who don't vote Republican.

The moment Alabama passed their voter ID law, they began to attempt to shut down ALL licence branches in democrat controlled areas of the state. They were gonna shut down all but four branches, which would have forced many poor and minority voters to drives more than 40 or 50 miles just to get an ID card to vote.

Their letterhead says, "Send us the results, we'll give you the poll!"

It is the foundation on which Roger Ailes built Fox News. He made no bones about it either.

It is also strong on MSNBC, once it decided to copy the Fox business model and become the Fox of the left.

You can count on the Republicans to oppose any attempt to standardize voter ID across the nation.

They like to yell about voter ID, but they don't care about people's right to vote. They care about trying to find ways to keep people who might vote for the other guy from voting at all.

That's what voter ID laws are all about. Standardizing them defeats that purpose.

That's the last thing they want.

Sadly, there are still right wingers on this forum who still haven't figured taht out.

Hillary Clinton was not the architect of the "Arab Spring".

So your first two words don't matter.

I have no idea what HGO is. It must be some made up nonsense on some far right wing BS site.

I googled it and came up with Houston Grand Opera.

    52% is the word

Wait ? Are we really talking 52% which is going even higher when the Dems refuse to compromise on true border security. Pelosi planted her flag on a losing issue.

Throwing away the 2020 election in 2019.... Precious !!!

Yep; today it's reported that Trump is up to either 52 or 53 percent popularity nation wide. Of course that means that the leftist allied Mainstream Media will immediately go Wide Full Open Trump bashing with every thing they have until the numbers once again drop to a level that they feel comfortable with. So . . . it . . . goes.
