Voting by non-citizens is unquestionably Constitutional as it was a wide spread practice when the nation was founded.

Why do Republican oppose something that is clearly Constitutional (and support things that are clearly unconstitutional)?

If we allow people to do what's Constitutional it makes it a lot easier to identify people that are doing something unconstitutional.

The Constitution only uses the term citizen for voting.

Citizen - a legally recognized subject or national of a state or commonwealth, either native or naturalized.

Because nobody but bureaucrats in washington, wielding a massively bloated burocracy, with the ability to create monopolistic behaviors for the well connected, while regulating competing out of existence, care about polution.
    Open up and say gulp

    False dichotomy fail!

We both know that the laws which bar felons (and certain others) from voting have been upheld by the SCotUS.
We both know that it is perfectly constitutional for the state to deny certain rights to certain people.

All I see here is an admission from you that I am correct - The SCotUS disagrees with your statement that voter ID laws are racist, as did the 7th Circuit. from whence came the appeal to the SC.

So is the federal law that that states only citizens can vote ion federal elections.

I accept your admission of error.

    Unsupportable nonsense.

The law barring non-citzens from voting in Federal elections passed into law in 1996 with strong support from both parties and signed into law by a Democrat.

I had a nice dissenting reply prepared but PoliticalForum ate it when it asked me to login again, and it was too much to do over.
