Names are given to establish "identity". They establish family origins, regional backgrounds, and sometimes even trades. Johnson would mean "son of John." Cartwright might translate to "wheel maker". Christian....gives the impression "one is a Christian". Why should anyone reframe from using Hussien? It is Obama's given name AND it identifies him? He is old enough to get a legal name change. You liberals are all over the place. Beto's last name is O'rourke. It is Irish obviously. The man is ashamed he is white. That's why he wants to be called "Beto". You apparently like teaching about bigotry because you don't seem to know how to deal with "real life". It is a sociology area that deals with emotion and not reality so you can make up your own rules declaring it gives you some "moral high ground". It is not a factual science like say Geometry, or literature. Educators, like yourself even take History and add an emotional element to it. Rather than researching fact and objectively reporting.....they emphasis and invent to promote their own "feelings". That is exactly you do with "given names". You can attach an "emotion" (bigotry) to it's use by some, yet it is accepted and admired by many (other Muslims). That is "elitism" at it's finest!

How does anyone know that John Kennedy's Middle name was Fitzgerald? Someone used it? I suggest the name represented a sense of pride. It was never hidden out of shame. It helped identify who he was. My own mother used to call me by all three names, particularly when she was mad....or sometimes when she was proud of me. Why? Because it is my full identification. I know what each name means and a little history behind it. That is why Barrack Hussein Obama should be used freely by anyone who wants to identify who the man is. Barrack Obama is definitely African in origin. That identifies he is a black immigrant, never "owned" by others in this Nation and not given a "slave" name. A sad commentary on our history. However Hussein is Muslim and part of his identity. If I want to identify the man, I and others are free, without condemnation by liberals, to use his "given name".

There, Renee, I spent some of my valuable time to educate you objectively. I don't expect to see any gratitude from you.

One???So many of the people he appointed or hired have been indicted, fired, or quit or in jail. He was right when he said he would drain the swamp he just didn’t say he would fill it first

The only thing that was allegedly 'good' for the economy was to dot com bubble that Clinton never saw coming, which of course popped and removed all the paper surpluses that were supposedly created by Clinton. In the meantime the Clinton WH successfully fought regulations on derivatives which were one of the main failures of the housing bubble.

Donald Trump is entertaining only in that he calls out those who have gotten away with distorting the truth for so long. It is entertaining only because no one ever expected it!

I’m a teacher and I’m going to call all those kids who get away with things names like Dumbo and pencil neck and Shorty and fatso. At least I’ll entertain the rest of the students. The dumbest students would probably find it entertaining and the brightest students would probably find it unprofessional

You need to work on that sense of humor. My wife and I often listen to Trumps insults and rudeness and break out laughing. It is entertaining for me.

That’s the problem he’s entertaining and appeals to a very low base. It’s like the loser kids who love watching the bully and identify with him.
I Think I am going to call students awful names and make fun of their looks because after all it will be entertaining.

Ultimately. The head man does set the tone.

Yes. Not only does he set the tone, he is responsible for the people who work for him. In the sense that part of the criteria for choosing someone to work in the admin (typically) is integrity. In this admin it's loyalty. That explains why people like Flynn, Pruitt, and more were allowed to remain after they clearly should have been fired.

That's it....ignore the lesson. Too busy teaching to actually learn.
    Here is the lesson again.....LEARN!

I'm sure his ridiculous, stupid and pointless obsession with his vendetta against John McCain played a role.
