    At a White House briefing March 19, President Donald Trump said, “Nobody knew there’d be a pandemic or an epidemic of this proportion.” But that’s simply not the case.

    Among others, the U.S. intelligence community warned in its annual threat report for 2019 that “that the United States and the world will remain vulnerable to the next flu pandemic or large-scale outbreak of a contagious disease that could lead to massive rates of death.”....

    Trump is not known for being good with words, but in this case, the opposition has made him the voice of reason. Claiming that he is lying requires mind reading ability. He tried to keep things calm.

    the problem with Trump is his credibility, no one thinks Trump will tell the truth about anything, Trump woudl lie about anything to try and make himself look good... even the weather

    that is really bad in a crisis like this pandemic, when people need to hear the facts from someone they can trust... the people just want the truth

    many are concerned about Trump's lies.... Trump lied... people died

    China and Trump should have been transparent in this issue

    but seems some were trying to give their rich donors a heads up so they could sell before the public

    what he said was that it was nothing to worry about, 15 case and was going down, soon to be zero, he had it under control

    Trump played it down, he did nothing....

    all while republicans were telling their rich donors what they should have been telling the public - in fact Trump was attacking the left for trying to get the message out early on

    When Trump predicted cases would be gone by April, he was either being incredibly stupid or incredibly dishonest. For a president to be either one is disturbing.
